Yeosang had never been to Jongho's work before, but wandering into the parking lot from down the street, there was a fierce sunset behind the one story building, and with the going down of the sun, the cold weather was coming on stronger.

He checked his watch—four fifty-eight PM—and looked around. The clinic was off a main street filled with cafés and restaurants that were beginning to open their doors for the evening's customers, and with the winter months and Christmas around the corner, many of the diners were beginning to put up fairy lights in their windows. From streetlight to streetlight, strings of gold-yellow lights rowed the street, and Yeosang thought it was pretty.

Glancing around, with no park benches nearby, he leant against a streetlight outside Jongho's work and watched the people go by. There were lots of families and younger couples, all dressed in warm coats and scarves. He'd not spent much time in this part of town, considering how just a little further down the street was the café he and Jongho had broken up in. But he thought that he could come to like it here. It was nice. Felt warm and cozy. Metaphorically, of course.

He pulled his jacket on closer.

He now understood why, when he'd Googled date spots in the city, this had been the street the majority of the top results had been located. It was beautiful and romantic—the perfect place to meet for a special evening.

He spent probably fifteen or more minutes just watching the world go by. Not that he checked the time. There was no hurry. The clinic was closed for the day and the patient parking lot empty. But by the time he heard the door to the clinic swing open and shut, when he glanced over his shoulder to see who it was, he was met with the sight of Jongho holding open the door for a few long moments—long enough to make him wonder what the hell he was doing...

Until another person eventually followed behind.

Yunho.

'You know you don't have to do that?' came Yunho's deep voice, kind of detached in that stoic way of his as he shoved keys and phone into his pockets—his kitten tucked under one arm in his hand. 'I've been opening doors for a very long time now. I think I can manage.'

'I know that,' Jongho replied, no doubt inwardly rolling his eyes. 'But you fixed my fuck up, so I'm trying to do something nice. Is that a crime?'

Listening to them talking, Yeosang smirked. Jongho was such a simp for that man it wasn't funny. He all bar rolled around in bed kicking his legs just at the mention of his name, but yet here he was, trying to be all cool and causal, whilst still mid-simp.

Turning around and leaning on the other side of the street lamp pole, he crossed his arms over his chest as he watched them, smirking.

And all the while, Jongho watched as Yunho turned back to the door and opened it, poking his head inside to call out, 'Mother, Father, I'm going now. The fish has been fed, I vacuumed the carpet, and no, Min and I are not coming over for dinner,' before he waited for what was presumably a response, replying, 'mhm, I'll be back tomorrow,' and then closing the door again—Mittens wriggling under his arm. He put her down on the ground—a lead attached to her collar that when taut when she pounced into the garden.
