Back on the CR90 Corvette in Ezra's Cabin, the Young Boy was working on a gift for Kaitis later after Sabine's mission was over! Just then, he heard a knock on his door before quickly hiding his little project, asking who it was!
Ezra: Who is it?
Luckily, it was only Kanan before he entered!
Kanan: It's just me!
Ezra sighed with relief, before revealing his little surprise for Kaitis!
Ezra: (Sighs with Relief!)
Kanan chuckled, asking what Ezra was doing now!
Kanan: (Chuckles) And... What are you making?
Ezra explained that his little project was Kaitis's old Jedi Lightsaber that Crosshair had destroyed 7 Years ago...
Ezra: Oh, it's Kaitis's old Jedi Lightsaber that Crosshair had destroyed 7 Years ago... After the Holocron incident and the way that he's been so good and so considerate to everyone while I was conscious for 6 Months, he deserves something nice, and I think I know what!
Kanan smiled proudly as his Student repaired the shattered crystal a little so that Kaitis could still use his Weapon while the crystal was broken, knowing that Kaitis was gonna love having his old Lightsaber back!
Kanan: Yeah... Something tells me Kaitis is gonna like having a Saber of his own!
Ezra smiled, glad that Kaitis had finally changed and was finally growing up!
Ezra: Yeah, he's changed the feel of this Squadron... He always had a good heart but was impatient, and always bit off more than he could chew... But despite all that, I think he's finally growing up!
Just then, the two of them heard Kaitis arguing with an anxious Eldra in the main room!
Kaitis: You seem a bit on edge...
Eldra: There's a good chance we're about to blow everyone's covers on this Squadron, including ours and Sabine's, so, yes! I'm a bit on edge! Why aren't you?!
Kaitis: I'm better at hiding it!
Ezra groaned, knowing that Eldra hadn't been calm like he had been since yesterday!
Ezra: (Groans) Not again... Still going on?
Kanan: Mmm, yes...
Ezra: Hmm...
Ezra quickly hid his project as both he and Kanan went to the main room, as they saw that Kaitis was trying to get his Sister to sit and calm down!
Kaitis: Eldra, you need to calm down!
Eldra: How can I be calm, huh? Sabine's stuck over there, and there's nothing I can do!
Ezra manages to calm Eldra down a little as she retook her seat, and he says something that surprises Kaitis a little bit!
Ezra: That's right! There's nothing you can do... So nothing you are doing right now is going to help! So sit down...
Eldra: Whoever takes this mission will be putting their life at risk! I've been in many tough situations before... It never seemed to bother you! I never stopped you from facing danger! You're constantly getting shot at...
Ezra: I've been trained for that! It's very different from spying on a traitor... Don't take it personally, Eldra... Duty comes first, especially in wartime...
Just then, as Kanan tried to help Ezra calm Eldra down, Kaitis burst out in a genuine laughing fit!
Kaitis: (Laughing)
Confused, Ezra asked what Kaitis found so funny now!
Ezra: What's so funny?
Kaitis stopped laughing before he explained to Ezra that he was acting a lot like his Real Parents right now!
Kaitis: (Laughing) I'm sorry... I'm sorry... Okay... Ezra, the reason why I'm laughing so much is because the way you're acting is exactly like Anakin and Padme right now!
Ezra, Kanan, and even Eldra's nervous behaviour dropped for a moment, confused what Kaitis meant by that!
All Three: Wait, what?!
Ezra sat down in his seat along with Kanan, as Kaitis shared a story with them!
Kaitis: Let me tell you a story... During the Clone Wars, Master Yoda and Obi-Wan believed Senator Clovis was conspiring with the Separatists... They needed to find out what he was planning! Yoda knew that we shouldn't treat him like a criminal since the slightest misstep could cause a major incident...
Ezra: You feel if my Father provokes him, you and the others would never find out what he's up to!
Kaitis: Exactly... We need someone who is not a Jedi to get close to him for us! Someone he won't suspect...
Ezra: If not a Jedi, who?
Kaitis: A fellow Senator... Your Mother!
Ezra: They wanted my Mother to spy on Clovis? I don't think that's a good idea!
Kaitis: That's what Anakin said! They chose Senator Amidala because she and Clovis entered the Senate in the same year... They served on the same committees! They were good friends...
Kanan: I didn't know that...
Ezra: I wouldn't expect Senator Amidala to have a friend in the Banking Clan...
Kaitis: And that's exactly what your Father said! Master Yoda has already asked her to spy on Clovis for us, and she refused... But soon, she changed her mind after hearing that Clovis might be conspiring with the Separatists! Eventually, she found the hologram disk in the library, seeing the tactical coordinates... for Count Dooku's new droid foundry... And Clovis and the Banking Clan are behind it... The Jedi Council had to see this evidence, and she quickly got it to Anakin! But unfortunately, she was poisoned by the Banking Clan, proving to Clovis that she only renewed their friendship, so that she could spy on him and steal from him! But she did it for the Republic! Luckily, Anakin managed to get both of them, their Droids and the Disk away safely, all while giving your Mother the antidote to the Poison! As soon as they were safely away, they made up for having any doubts between them... The one thing that I learned from your Mother and Father that day, is that Duty comes first, especially in wartime...
Ezra frowned a little as Eldra left to mediate before his mind started to think about the conversation his Mother had with Anakin after her mission was a success!
Padme: I'm sorry...
Anakin: What for? We got away and we have the Hologram... The Jedi will use that information to destroy Count Dooku's foundry... Your mission was a success!
Padme: But I made you doubt me...
Anakin: Never!
Kaitis: Ezra, part of a Jedi's wisdom comes from learning to accept when a situation is out of our control!
Ezra frowned, proving that Eldra's nervous behaviour was having a huge effect on the Bond between him and Sabine! Luckily, Kanan took things from here, reassuring Ezra to trust that Sabine would succeed in her mission!
Kanan: Okay, Ezra... I'm going to ask you a question, and I need you to be honest: Do you trust her?
Ezra: Of course I trust her!
Kanan: Good! Then trust she'll succeed...
Eldra watched silently from outside the room as Kaitis left before she asked Sabine to be careful...
Kaitis: Hmm... Well, look at that!
Eldra: Be careful, Eldra...
