You could be the shittiest cook in the world and he'd still give you grace. Prosciutto knew the risk of snatching you up and selfishly making you play house. Not everyone is spouse material and not everyone can cook. That's why he's having the patience to let you learn. Sure the food is disgusting and he's having to spend a lot of money on take out but it'll all be worth it. Though his patience is a reward for obedience.
If you'd been acting out, wasting more time trying to fight the reality of the situation, Prosciutto is more bitchy. He would've thought you could do anything with the way you're so prideful and ungrateful. Refusing his assistance and love because you're "better than that", you have "high standards". Yet here you are burning up his food and wasting his money on a daily basis. All because you're too stubborn to read the recipe he put in front of you.

Get the hell out of this man's kitchen! Every time you scorch the bottom of a pot or use metal on nonstick pans, Pesci dies inside. His kitchen looks amazing and because he takes such good care of his dishes they all look brand new. At least they did before you started burning food into any pot, pan, or skillet you could get your hands on! So you're not allowed to cook, just pass him the salt and go sit down.
