Reacting To Their Daughter Having A Lover

Request: Also how would they all react to their daughter bringing home their partner?

Risotto:

     Doesn't care how much she loves them or how excited she was to introduce her partner to the both of you, she knows better than to bring any type of company to the house without a proper heads up. Other than that, Risotto is elated to know your daughter is in love and has found love, even though it's probably temporary. Only because of his past work, if he ever left the mafia life, Risotto does a little digging to be sure her lover doesn't have nefarious intentions. The last thing he needs is her confidence to be shattered after being seen as nothing more than a gullible pawn.

Prosciutto:

     Tells her partner to turn around before they can walk through the door, Prosciutto doesn't give a damn if they're just another teen. No outsiders are allowed into his home! Prosciutto requires his family to give a three-day notice, her lover isn't above the rules, she's welcome to try again another time. Aside from that, Prosciutto doesn't want his daughter to have a romantic relationship! He wants her to focus on her education. She's welcome to have friends but a lover may be too much of a distraction from her goals, if she starts slipping up or coincidentally does a poor job in classes, she can kiss her lover goodbye.

Formaggio:

     Formaggio's happy for his little girl and will be open to meeting her lover at any time as long as he isn't busy. He's very easy going when meeting the partner creating a friendly atmosphere and accidentally telling embarrassing stories. Formaggio trusts her judgment too so unless he gets a bad vibe he's not going to go snooping or threatening them. Casually invites her lover over for game nights or family outings, now that she's dating she won't feel like the designated third wheel around the two of you.

Ghiaccio:

    No! She's not allowed to have a relationship! it means she'll visit less and is further proof that she's growing up. He's skeptical of this stranger calling themselves a lover and wants to find a reason they're not fit to be with his baby girl. During the lunch you've made for your daughter's sweetheart Ghiaccio is sucking his teeth listening to their love story. Dismisses any effort made to get to know him and isn't going to address their presence directly until your daughter calls him out for his shitty attitude.

Melone:

    He's practically Cupid, Melone loves anything involving love especially when his daughter has found their possible soulmate! Wants to hear everything from start to finish about how they met and how they knew they were in love. Does the ridiculous zodiac sign compatibility to see if they're going to be a good pair but will ignore the prediction if it says they're bad for one another like he did for his darling. Warns them against unsafe sex over dinner even though they groan in disgust, they might cringe now but it's valuable information. Begs them for any cute couple pictures and is always sending them matching clothes that he thinks they'll look great in.

Illuso:

    An adult that will compare his daughter's date to himself to determine if the said date is worthy, it's like he thinks she wants to date a replica of her father? Well after seeing the way he treated you, cause he doesn't hide anything, she most definitely doesn't! Illuso considers himself to be quite the catch in romance and asks the date questions to see if they're anything like him. If they don't have much in common Illuso will complain that they're too boring for his daughter, that he didn't even take care of, and suggests that she tries again since this one is obviously not the one for her. But it doesn't matter she brought her date to meet you.

Pesci:

    He can't stop smiling when his daughter introduces her date and can't stop gazing at her partner with a lovesick smile. The sight makes him feel complete, Pesci never butted in on her love life or stopped her from having romantic bonds, he just gave her the talk and trusted her to make the right choices. Very big on including her lover in the family, Pesci always asks if they'd want to join you for dinner, invites them on family vacations, and reminds you to pick a holiday gift for them.

Sorbet & Gelato:

    The date might think Sorbet and Gelato hate them since their resting faces make them look scary but they're genuinely delighted to see their little dove's special someone. Gelato wants to know everything about her partner's life to get an idea of what kind of person they are. Any sign of discomfort from a question makes him wonder if they're hiding some relationship ruining secrets. Gelato just needs to know that his daughter isn't going to be dragged into a mess later on or being used as payback for an ex.

    Sorbet observes the couple silently and lets Gelato ask his twenty-one questions, watching the young lovers interact as he listens closely to catch any toxic traits. He may have a toxic romance with you and Gel but he isn't going to let someone mistreat his daughter. Aside from that, they will let her have her fun while it lasts. Sorbet brings up the relationship now and then to see if she's having any issues while Gelato keeps asking if they had their first couple fight yet.
