Cioccolata isn't concerned about your family because anything outside of him, his pets, and his work doesn't matter. Because he doesn't care, that means you don't get to visit them. The three of you also travel throughout Italy frequently so it's not like he'd have the time to squeeze in a bunch of nobodies anyways. I could only see him letting you off on your own after you've been properly trained and are far past the idea of "escaping" him. If Secco had any relatives he cared about he'd be able to see them because his loyalty is undeterred and he's never given Cioccolata a problem.

The second Diavolo hears you ask Doppio about your family he begins to plot their demise. You should know by now that seclusion and secrecy is of utmost importance to Diavolo. You can't become anonymous when everyone knows your fuckin' name! He doesn't trust you enough to let you leave Doppio's side, why would he trust you to not blab to your family?! Due to his paranoia, I genuinely believe he'd have Doppio either cut your tongue out or ruin your voice box over this. Even though you were only asking because you miss them, he's going to punish you for this.

Formaggio can win your family over easily, everyone loves him. He doesn't care if you're still in contact with them and will show up to family events to have a good time. If someone in your family doesn't like him he'd ask them if they're going to do something about it and is always waiting for the chance to annoy them. Drops by to visit your parents sometimes "you cook anything today ma?", always trying to get some home-cooked meal when he's in the area. He won't even bring you a plate home unless they send him with one.
