CHAPTER 79: Escape Union Part 1

The next day, everything was being set in motion. The Peace Faction decided that it was best to leave Unity City the next day as it gave their members time to prepare. Nezu is covering it up as a large field trip which surprisingly the other headmasters bought it. But Nezu isn't sure how much time they have before Ozpin and Sirzechs figures out what's going on. After all Henry Louis will be on alert, he always is. (Y/n) suggested he contact the CRS for pick up, but Nezu decided against it. They'll be too close to Unity City and if CRS shuttles show up, things could get intense fast. When (Y/n) asked what the plan was, he was assured that Nezu had a plan. Currently, (Y/n) was inside Union Academy waiting for the signal to move out when he thought about Yor Briar. She's an ally and doesn't feel like leaving an ally behind. He remembered that he gave her a communicator before he went to Union Academy. He wanted to inform her of what's going down.

He found a room where he could contact her and went inside before grabbing his own communicator. Once he establishes contact, a hologram of Yor appears.

Yor(Hologram): "oh! So that's how it works." she mumbles.

Maybe he should've explained how to use the damn thing before he gave it to her.

(Y/n): "I'm going to cut to the chase. The Peace Faction and I are making our move." He spoke.

Yor(Hologram): "What does that mean?" she asks.

(Y/n): "it means the Peace Faction and I are bailing. We're gathering our numbers and retreating away from Unity City. I wanted to tell you because I felt like you deserved to know that, and I want you to join us." He explained.

Yor(Hologram): "what about my brother?" she asks, sounding nervous.

(Y/n): "perhaps its best if we move away from the city. Reduces the chances of him being caught in the crossfire." He said, calmly.

Yor hesitated and (Y/n) could see the hesitation. But he wasn't going to leave her behind, he's never going to leave any allies behind.

(Y/n): "Yor. I can tell you're hesitating. But listen to me, I know you don't appreciate Union's rule. I know you want to do something about it. This is your chance. Come with us, the Coalition could benefit from someone of your skillset." he said, trying to convince her.

Yor was still hesitant, but she began to think about it. She did agree to help (Y/n) and (Y/n) promised to keep her brother safe. She sighs and gains the courage to do it.

Yor(Hologram): "Okay. I'll come with." she said.

(Y/n) smiled.

(Y/n): "Glad to hear, I'll have Nezu send someone to guide you to the rally point." he informs.

Yor nods before (Y/n) ends the transmission. With that done, he walks towards the door and heads into the hallway. He didn't even take a step forward as he noticed Nezu and Qrow were outside. Figuring it was something important, he opened the door and walked back into the room. Qrow and Nezu followed. Once all three were inside, (Y/n) shut the door.

(Y/n): "is it time?" He asks.

Nezu: "Yes, but it will take us time and Qrow has another objective that he brought to me." he said.

(Y/n): "That being?" he asks.

Qrow: "Jackson Black is in Unity City." he reveals. "He's teamed up with Najenda and my sister Raven to save a guy named Dolion Louis, the son of Henry Louis. He was captured by someone and brought here."

(Y/n): "Where is he?" he asks.

Nezu: "I've had Futaba run a complete search through Union's security systems to find Young Louis. It took some time, but she located him in the Staff Only Section of the Academy." he explains.
