Chapter 102: The Dream

hours have passed since (Y/n) and the others returned from attacking the Black Rose Base and now they are waiting for Henry and the UIB to track down Khan. Luna had received proper medical care for what damaged she sustained from the Black Rose while Eri and Anya were also given a checkup just in case. During those hours, (Y/n) made sure Vader got situated with the CRS as an Ally. But as the day came to an end, everyone got themselves ready for sleep. Even (Y/n) went off to bed, but he decided to stay in Kuo Kuana. However, after a while in slumber, he opened her eyes, and they soon widen as he sits up. He was on Serenno. (Y/n) got up off the ground and then noticed he was wearing his Clone Wars attire. He looked around and soon saw Count Dooku standing far from him.

"Master?" (Y/n) asked.

Dooku grabbed his lightsaber and ignites it. (Y/n) looked at it with confusion. Suddenly, Dooku charged (Y/n) and thrust his saber forward. (Y/n) dodged the attack and grabbed his lightsaber and ignites it. But it wasn't white, it was red. Dooku followed up by sending a strike towards (Y/n) who parried the attack. Dooku pressed his assault by sending multiple lightsaber strikes at (Y/n) who blocked them all and made a counterattack. But as (Y/n)'s saber flew, it sliced through Dooku's lightsaber as he turned into mist which stunned (Y/n). The scenery around him then faded into darkness before it returned. This time he was in a swirling mass of red smoke. He looked around and soon saw images. He saw Anakin standing over Dooku before he beheads him, he then saw the Clones marching on the Jedi Temple with Anakin leading them, the next image from the smoke was of Obi Wan who laid dead on the ground.

The next set of images showed Altus dying during the Battle of Bingham, Yor being hurt by Grimshaw the day they met, and Luna looking injured from being attacked by Kagami and the Black Rose. The last image he saw was of him standing in Palpatine's office on Coruscant with Palpatine cackling and Darth Vader standing in front of him with his lightsaber active. The Image (Y/n) and Vader were facing each other as if they were enemies. This image fades away before blue and pink lightning crackles in the smoke. The smoke stops swirling before it all is focused onto one location. From the smoke, Palpatine emerges. It was almost like (Y/n) could sense Palpatine right in front of him. (Y/n) raised his lightsaber but noticed it was gone, and he was shocked.

Palpatine cackled before blasting Force Lightning at him. (Y/n) shields himself with the Force but it ends, and he abruptly wakes up back in the real world with a loud gasped as he shoots up and sits up on the bed he was on. He looked around and saw he was in the Belladonna house. Ghira was gracious enough to give him a guest room. Luna, Eri and Anya were on the Reclaimer of Independence as he believed it was safer for them to be on the ship and not in Kuo Kuana. He has no idea what he just went through but he's certain those images he saw were his memories or at least, things that happened. He wasn't present for Anakin's march on the Jedi Temple, so it must've been the Force showing him that event. But what about the image he saw in Palpatine's office? Something from the future? Possibly. (Y/n)'s head was all over the place, so he decided to get some fresh air.

After leaving the Belladonna house, he walked through Kuo Kuana. The images he saw in his dream flashing through his mind constantly. Almost like a cruel way of reminding him of how his loved ones were in danger. He tried to get rid of the images, but he couldn't. It was like the Force itself was playing with him in a cruel way. He hated it. He reached a turn and as he turned, he nearly ran into Yor.

"Oh, Sorry." (Y/n) and Yor both apologized at the same time.

"I wasn't paying attention." (Y/n) continued.

"Neither was I." Yor said. "How come you're up at this time?"

"I could ask you the same thing." (Y/n) said.

"Just a nightmare, figured I should get some fresh air." Yor said.

"Same here." (Y/n) commented, as a humored look came to his face.
