CHAPTER 98: The Assault Part 2

Ethan was in his Lab room with four Black Rose Soldiers. Ethan had heard the alarm and was making haste to transfer all his data to a data stick to avoid it being picked up by the enemy. As he worked away, Kagami and an additional two Black Rose Soldiers moved into the room. Kagami marched over to Ethan.

"time's up Doc, hurry things up. We're leaving." Kagami said.

"No! I can't leave now; there's still so much data to download." Ethan argued. "I can't leave anything to our enemies."

"Then destroy it all." Kagami said impatiently.

"Absolutely not!" Ethan said as he stepped closer to Kagami. "I've worked for decades on this research, and I will not destroy all that I've worked hard for."

Kagami growls in frustration at Ethan's stubbornness as she turns her back to Ethan. Ethan returns to work on the console before he got an idea as he thought about Luna, Anya and Eri. His test subjects. He is debating on what to do with them. He could just leave them behind, but he can't let his subjects fall into enemy hands. They'd use their powers against him. So, he has one thing left to do. Kill them. Ethan hears a beep from the console, and he grabs the data stick and removed it from the console. He looked at it.

"Can we go now?" Kagami asked.

"Not yet, there's one last thing we must do." Ethan said.

"That being?" Kagami asked.

"We need to terminate the test subjects." Ethan said.

Kagami was surprised to hear this before nodding, having a good idea why Ethan wants to do this.

[Elsewhere]

Rex and Nomad trade fire with Black Rose Soldiers alongside the Commando Droids. Aizawa took cover, ready to use his Quirk if needed while Ahsoka used her Lightsabers to block the incoming projectiles that were fired at her from the Black Rose Soldiers. (Y/n) was busy with focusing on the Force to find his daughter's exact location in the base. Yor stood beside him. One Commando Droid is shot down next to Yor. Quickly thinking, Yor grabs the Droids blaster and takes aim before pulling the trigger and shooting down one Black Rose Soldier. Rex gunned down two Black Rose Soldiers as did Nomad before they both returned to cover.

"there's no end to them!" Rex said in frustration.

(Y/n) grows frustrated before halting his search through the Force. He opened his eyes, and they turned into the Sith colors for a brief moment before he marched past everyone while using his lightsaber to deflect incoming bullets. He then reached out with the Force and grabbed the Black Rose Soldiers in front of him and his task force. The Soldiers all grabbed their necks as they were lifted up into the air before (Y/n) killed them all with the Force. He then slammed their bodies on the ground. The shooting finally stopped and (Y/n)'s eyes return to normal. But his frustration was still present. Yor stepped closer to (Y/n) with concern on her face.

"(Y/n), are you okay?" Yor asked.

"No I'm not." (Y/n) said, turning to her with a glare. "These bastards have my daughter and who knows what they're doing to her!"

"(Y/n) calm down." Ahsoka said.

"No!" (Y/n) shouted. "Last time I was calm Obi Wan died and my daughter was kidnaped. I'm growing sick and tired of holding back."

Ahsoka was shocked to see this and Yor just showed concern. Aizawa thought this was dangerous given (Y/n)'s immense power.

"We'll find her, and we'll bring her home." Yor said, calmly. "You need to focus and calm yourself."

(Y/n) didn't listen and just marched past them before using the Force to blast open another sealed door. He didn't waste time and walked through the now open door. The group looked on concerned, well except the Droids. They then followed (Y/n). Ahsoka knew why (Y/n) was acting like this. He lost Count Dooku, his lost his parents, he lost Obi Wan who was kind of like a friend, and he had to watch as Luna was kidnapped. He doesn't want to lose anyone else. So, he's tapping deeper into the Dark Side to save Luna.

[Luna's Cell]

Luna was about to return to meditation to help guide her father to her, but Anya and Eri were scared so she did her best to keep them calm. As she did, she could still hear the alarms blaring meaning that the battle isn't over. She then hears the door to her cell begin to open. Anya and Eri huddled behind Luna who stood defensively in front of them. The door opened and Six Black Rose Soldiers walk into the room with Ethan and Kagami. Luna glared at Ethan with hatred, and she shielded Anya and Eri.

"Please, no more tests." Anya said with tears in her eyes.

"Well, you're in luck, that suffering has ended." Ethan said.

Anya and Eri look confused but not Luna. The Force was warning her to remain vigilant, so she was. Ethan then motioned to the Six Soldiers that were with him. They nod and step forward before aiming their rifles. Luna's eyes widened as Eri and Anya hide behind her.

"NO!" Luna shouts as she pushed her hands forward and unleashed a powerful Force Push.

The Soldiers are flung across the cell room and hit the wall. Ethan dodged the Soldiers as did Kagami who was shocked. Ethan quickly grabbed a remote and pressed a button. The shock collar around Luna's neck lit up and send lightning throughout Luna's body. Luna screamed but didn't fall to the floor. Her scream turned into a growl as she glared at Ethan whose eyes widened. Luna then aimed her hands as her eyes turn a Sith-ly color before she unleashed her own Force Lightning at Ethan. Ethan was struck by the Lightning and flung back into the wall and shouted out in pain. Kagami acted and charged Luna before punching her across the face launching her into the wall. It was hard enough to cause Luna's head to bleed. Kagami charged Luna again and grabbed her by the hair and lifted her head up before punching her in the face again and again.

Blood hit the floor before Kagami let go of Luna. Blood trailed down her face as she was propped up against the wall. Kagami raised her fist once more before and invisible force grabbed her, and she couldn't move. Luna then weakly looked up at Kagami and watched her get flung backwards before a white blade pierced her from behind through the chest. Kagami is then tossed aside, and it was revealed that (Y/n) had killed her. (Y/n) looked over and saw his daughter's state making him gasp and his eyes widen. He turned off his lightsaber and rushed over to her. He kneels beside her and lifts her head so she could look at him.

"Dad." Luna said weakly.

"I'm here, your safe." (Y/n) said, concern on his face.

He quickly used Force heal on her and while it healed her wounds, it didn't get rid of the blood on her face. Once he was done, (Y/n) gently hugged his daughter, just glad that he got here in time. Ethan groaned in pain before he stood up. He was about to use his remote but realized it didn't work anymore.

"Don't even think about it." Rex said, aiming his pistols at Ethan.

Ethan looked to Rex and saw Nomad also aiming his blaster at him. 

Luna has been rescued, but Khan and Grimshaw still remain.
