Chapter 122: Battle of Unity Part 4

As Pelicans, LAATs and HMPs flew towards Union Academy, various fighters were defending them from enemy attacks. Not that it was needed since the United Forces were tearing themselves apart after Henry's message got out. Reports flooded comms informing (Y/n) of how widespread this Union Civil War is. It's the entire Garrison defending Unity City. Even the Air Fleet above is divided by the Loyalists and the Traitors. He imagines that it also isn't isolated to just Unity City. The entirety of Union is probably divided after that broadcast. Which is perfect for him and the entire CRS. It means that Union's downfall is set in stone. (Y/n) removes himself from his thoughts as he senses a new presence around his forces.

"Pilot, open the hatches." (Y/n) ordered.

The Clones in the LAAT with him were confused before the side hatches open and they see the Angels flying beside the LAATs, Pelicans, and HMPs. One of the Angels waves at (Y/n) before he refocuses on his approach to the Academy. As the allies got closer to Union, multiple Devils intercepted them, but the Angels fought to defend the transports. With their help, the dropships all reach their destination, and they land to begin dispensing their troops and droids. The United Forces stationed at the Academy are overwhelmed as Separatist Marines, Clone Troopers and Battle Droids swarm in. (Y/n) disembarks from the gunship with the Clones and he ignites his lightsaber before deflecting a few incoming bullets. The LAAT returns to the sky to provide aerial support as do the Pelicans and HMPs. Our hero charges forward with his forces as they cleave through the United Forces. As (Y/n) cuts down two UF Soldiers he senses an immensely powerful presence before there was an explosion of red demonic energy on the battlefield. The Allied Forces turned to the source and saw Sirzechs standing there.

"Seraph!!" Sirzechs shouts, furiously.

Sirzechs spots (Y/n) amongst the chaos before his wings appear on his back and he dives for the former Sith. Our hero welcomes this by charging the Devil King. The last headmaster summons a demonic sword as he flew towards his target and slashed his sword at his prey. But (Y/n) slid under the attack, dodging it perfectly. The Force user then stops his momentum and swivels his body, turning to face Sirzechs who had turned and lunged at him. Their blades clash in the middle as they enter a blade lock.

"I won't let you destroy my empire!" Sirzechs declares.

"That's too bad, because I refuse to let you rule over this world!" (Y/n) barked back.

(Y/n) breaks the blade lock by pushing the Devil King's blade to the floor before he slashed upwards and cut Sirzechs in the face making him stumble back. The Devil King growls and lunges forward before swinging his sword at (Y/n). The former Sith blocks the attack and then the next, then the next and the next. He stepped back as he blocked these strikes and Sirzechs moved forward pressing his assault. The Devil King clashed his sword against (Y/n)'s lightsaber before he pulled his fist back and punched the former Sith in the stomach in quick succession. Our hero is sent flying deeper into the Academy grounds. He crashes through a few walls before ending up in a plaza like area. He slammed his feet onto the ground and halted his momentum after skidding back a few feet.

"Okay, that hurt." (Y/n) mumbled.

As the pain subsided, Sirzechs flew into the plaza and landed far from (Y/n). our hero assumes a battle stance while Sirzechs just stands there with his demonic sword in his right hand.

"No one has ever threatened the empire I built so effectively." Sirzechs said. "I guess I should commend you for that. But it changes nothing, you made a foolish gamble in attacking this city and this academy. I will see to it that you are thoroughly punished."

Sirzechs brings his left hand up and generates a ball of Destruction energy before aiming it at the former Sith. The orb is then launched at him and at first (Y/n) thought about deflecting it but something told him he couldn't so he dodged. He leaped to the left, using the Force to propel himself into the air. The Orb strikes the spot where he once stood, and a large explosion erupted with the shockwave sending (Y/n) flying. He lands on top of a building and Sirzechs sees this, so he fired another orb at him. Our hero's eyes widened before he used the force to increase his speed. He then quickly drops from the building's roof and charges Sirzechs as the orb exploded behind him. The Devil King brought his sword up and parried a lightsaber strike before he swung his sword at (Y/n) who parried it. They repeated this action a few more times before (Y/n) spins around the next strike and slashed his Lightsaber across Sirzechs' arm, but it did little damage. Our hero was stunned before the Devil King chuckled sinisterly.
