Chapter 121: Battle of Unity Part 3

Explosions, gunfire and other sounds of War erupt around the capital of Union. The United Forces fought hard to hold ground, but the combined forces of the Allies and their technology didn't make it easy as they were losing ground. The United Forces air fleet above was being torn to shreds by the combined fleet of the Allies and the Air Defense Network. Fighters clashed above while troops on the ground fought one another. Civilians had all gathered in shelters under the city, so they were out of the crossfire. (Y/n) was glad when he discovered this, it meant his forces wouldn't accidently kill civilians. Our hero was currently standing in a large open area within the city that his forces had captured. He was getting closer and closer to the Academy, but he knew he wouldn't reach it with enough troops if he kept going on land. So, he needs to take things to the skies. He stood in the middle of moving troops and tanks before BT and Jack walked over to him.

"Supreme Commander." Jack greets.

"Cooper." (Y/n) greeted back.

"Commander Briggs has our Titans either attacking or holding key areas." Jack reports. "Transports are on their way to bring us to the Academy."

"Good, once they arrive, we need to push hard. We can't allow Union to rebound and fend off our assault." (Y/n) said.

Johnson then walks over to him and (Y/n) recognizes him.

"Good to see you again, Johnson." (Y/n) said.

"Same here, didn't expect you to physically be here for the battle." Johnson said. "It's a welcome surprise."

Suddenly a large holographic screen appeared on the buildings making everyone look towards it. (Y/n) and the others were curious what this was. Henry's image appears on the hologram screen.

"People of Union, this is Director Henry Louis of the Union Intelligence Bureau." Henry said. "Union has lied to you. They've withheld the truth for all of you. Thousands of lives have suffered at the hands of the headmasters and many more have been killed in unjust attacks."

Elsewhere in Unity City, Jackson Black and Najenda trade fire with the United Forces as this broadcast played. Jackson looked at it and soon Najenda did the same. It was being played not just in Unity city but around the world. Images of proof of Union's atrocities were shown. United Forces Soldiers even looked at the broadcast.

"Union has committed horrible atrocities and the UIB hid them from you, all of you." Henry said. "I was blinded by my single-minded goal of preventing chaos from spreading that I failed to realize that Union is the breeding ground for further chaos and instability."

Elsewhere in the city, Raven and Qrow cut down United Forces Soldiers. Raven used her Maiden powers to blast away a tank and a few squads of UF Soldiers and Heavies. Qrow turned to the broadcast.

"In my blinded state I prevented the world from achieving freedom. I failed to realize I was supposed to protect you all, the people of this world. Instead, I only brought pain and scars. I can never be forgiven for what I've done, but that won't stop me from doing what's right." Henry said.

Back with (Y/n), he was surprised. Henry was revealing everything. The truth. He unintentionally smiled seeing this.

"I ask of you now, revolt. Fight back against Union's regime. Take back your homes, take back your nations, take back your planet!" Henry said. "To those who remain Loyal to Union, you are the scourge of mankind. The stain that prevents our freedom. To those willing to stand up against Union and their atrocities, I applaud you. I celebrate your bravery; I celebrate your will to fight for your homes."

At Union Academy, Sirzechs and his Royal Guard see this broadcast and his eyes widened before he clenched his fists and let out an angered scream. Ironwood saw this too and was stunned. Within Unity City, Endeavor and a number of Pro Heroes heard all of this and were shocked. The UF Soldiers and Heavies looked at each other as they stopped fighting.
