Chapter 118: March on Union

Everything was ready. Everyone was set. The march could begin. Vader's Fleet of Venators, (Y/n)'s CIS Warships, and the Separatist States' Air Fleet all rallied together above Kuo Kuana. Clone Troopers and Battle Droids are now side by side. (Y/n) was in Kuo Kuana looking up at the massive fleet of warships with a satisfied look on his face. Two and a half months of work leading up to this moment. He had planned, he had rallied, he had inspired hope, he had revived the fighting spirit of the people of Earth. He knows Dooku would be proud. But he knows that ending Union won't be the end of his journey. He still has Palpatine to deal with. He and Vader both plan to take on Palpatine together once all of this is done. He's accomplished so much in so little time. He helped forge a Rebellion that now threatens a global regime, he's found love in the arms of Yor and became a father. He once had nothing, but now, he had it all.

As he looked up at the massive Fleet that he would bring down onto Unity City, Yor approached him. As she did, she looked up at the massive fleet above before looking at the man she loved.

"(Y/n), can we talk?" Yor asked.

(Y/n) stopped looking at the fleet above and turned to face her.

"What about?" (Y/n) said.

"With everything that's about to go down.... I'm worried." Yor confessed.

"Worried, why?" (Y/n) asked.

"You're about to lead a charge against the Capital of the most powerful nation in history, sure their power has faded recently. But you're going to lead an assault against a heavily fortified position and.... I." Yor explained before clenching her fists.

Much to (Y/n)'s surprise, he sees tears build up in Yor's eyes.

"I don't want to lose you." Yor revealed. "Please... let me join you on the frontlines."

(Y/n) sighs. He had told Yor to stay in Kuo Kuana to protect Luna, Anya and Eri while he was gone.

"I need you here to protect them, because if this assault fails by any chance, I need someone to protect Luna, Anya and Eri." (Y/n) said before he gently brushed away a tear on Yor's cheek. "You don't need to worry, I'll be fine."

"I'll make sure of it." Vader said.

Yor turns around as (Y/n) looked behind her and they saw Vader standing there with Ahsoka, Rex and Nomad.

"Is it time?" (Y/n) asked.

"Yes, everyone is ready to move out. the new batch of Battle Droids just arrived too, the Separatist States are keeping them stored away on their Airships." Rex answered.

"Good, then it's time we move out." (Y/n) said before looking at Yor. "I promise, I'll come back alive."

"You better." Yor said.

(Y/n) then walks past Yor while Vader and the others follow him as they head for a transport to bring them to the Reclaimer of Independence.

[Reclaimer of Independence, Short Time Skip]

On the bridge of the Lucrehulk-Class Battleship the Reclaimer of Independence, (Y/n) and the CRS Commanders who are joining him all stood together. Adam, Sienna, Najenda, Nezu, Jackson, Raven, Ahsoka, Rex, Nomad and Vader. Night Raid was told to stay behind at Kuo Kuana with a small garrison in case this attack failed. Which (Y/n) doubted it would. The Separatists even stationed some of their Troops to defend Kuo Kuana while the rest of the force was gone.

"Is everything ready?" (Y/n) asked.

"All Ships ready to move out, Supreme Commander." Altus said.

"Very well then, order all ships to move out. our march on Union begins now." (Y/n) ordered.
