CHAPTER 100: Long Awaited Reunion

(Y/n) and his Group stood in front of Darth Vader and the Clones of the 501st Legion. (Y/n) was both worried and glad to see the man he considers a brother. He was worried for Earth, his operations on Earth, his allies, his friends and his daughter. Vader was working for Palpatine, the bastard that (Y/n) once trusted. But he was also glad to see him here because he had a chance to turn Vader against Palpatine and bring Anakin back to the light. He just needs to figure out how to do that. Well, he'll have Ahsoka and Padme's help so it shouldn't be too hard. But there is a lot of catching up to do between Vader and (Y/n). The two groups moved out of the Black Rose Bunker and (Y/n) saw a few LAATs. The Republic colors gone, replaced by grey and white.

"So, what has Altus told you about my mission here?" (Y/n) asked.

"Just that you came here to save your daughter." Vader said. "It was surprising to hear you'd become a father."

"It's a choice I do not regret." (Y/n) said.

He then gestured for Luna to come over to him and Vader. Luna hesitated, being intimidated by Vader, but eventually walked over and stood beside her father.

"This is my daughter, Luna." (Y/n) introduced. "She's also my apprentice."

This caught Vader's attention. (Y/n) with an apprentice is another surprise, but a welcome one to be sure.

"This is certainly surprising." Vader said. "You with an apprentice, never thought I'd see the day."

"Ever since I arrived, there's been tons of surprises on this Planet." (Y/n) said. "There's even a surprise for you back in Kuo Kuana."

Vader seemed confused by this statement. He figured Kuo Kuana was (Y/n)'s base of operations but he didn't know what he meant by "there's even a surprise for you" so he was both confused and intrigued. One of the Clones then heard what sounded like engines and looked up at the sky before spotting four UH-70s coming towards them.

"Contact!" The Clone shouted.

The Clones in the area turned to the Union Dropships and raised their blasters. Vader even prepared to use the force to destroy the ships but (Y/n) stopped them.

"No, no, Wait! There on our side." (Y/n) said hastily. "For now, at least."

Vader caught that last part before he ordered his Clone Troopers to stand down. The clones lowered their blasters as the UH-70s came in to land. When they landed, (Y/n) saw the UIB Emblem on the side of them. The side doors open up and UIB Soldiers stepped out with Henry stepping out with them. Henry makes his way over to (Y/n) and Vader. Henry didn't know who Vader, or these Clone troopers were but paid them no mind.

"Saw your forces arrive here, sorry I didn't arrive sooner." Henry said.

"Headmasters got you bogged down?" (Y/n) asked.

"Something like that." Henry said before he looked at Vader. "Who's this?"

"Someone I consider a brother." (Y/n) answered.

Henry accepts that answer. Then, everyone hears more engines flying and turn to see a small number of Stolen UH-70s flying away from the bunker. Henry quickly spots the Black Rose emblem on some of them.

"Seems like some survivors are fleeing." Henry said.

"No doubt Khan is amongst them." (Y/n) said. "But let them run, we'll find them again."

"If our spy satellites weren't working, I'd be against this." Henry said. "But I'll update you once the satellites track Khan down."

(Y/n) nods before Henry takes his leave. Him and his Soldiers getting back onto their dropships before said aircraft take off and leave the area. (Y/n) then turns to Vader who looked at him in response.

"if you would, follow me and my forces back to Kuo Kuana." (Y/n) said.

All Vader does is nod.

[Kuo Kuana, Menagerie, sometime later]

The LAATs, HMP Gunships and Shuttle all finally arrived at Kuo Kuana. (Y/n) had sent a message to the CRS of his approach with additional forces. These additional forces were Darth Vader and his Clone Troopers. Vader had contacted his fleet and told them to maintain defensive positions with (Y/n)'s Fleet in Orbit, creating a merged fleet of the Galactic Empire and CRS. By the time they arrived, the shuttle carrying (Y/n), Luna, Anya, Eri, Ahsoka, Yor, Rex, Nomad, Aizawa, Darth Vader and their prisoner Ethan. landed at the landing zone in Kuo Kuana. The LAATs were instructed to follow the HMP Gunships back into Orbit as they were no longer needed. The ramp drops and the group steps off the ship. Anya and Eri were worried about what would happen to them, but Luna had to assure them that they were safe.

As the group stepped off the shuttle, Vader looked around and saw the many Faunus, Battle Droids and White Fang Soldiers. But then his eyes landed on someone he'd thought he'd never see again. Padme. She stood at the landing zone waiting for them. Vader stood in disbelief seeing her. Padme was also surprised to see him. (Y/n) had described what Anakin looks like now and Vader fits that description but something else was telling her that this was indeed Anakin. Vader walked up to Padme and once he reached her, he moved his hand to see if she was real. His gloved hand touches her cheek, and it tells Vader that she is indeed real.

"H-How are you......" Vader says, his voice fading as he spoke.

"(Y/n) is to thank for bringing me back to life." Padme said.

Vader looked at his old friend, silently asking for an answer to what Padme meant. So (Y/n) explained.

"Michael, an Angel, gave me a special relic called the Icon of life." (Y/n) explained. "With it I could bring anyone I want back to life. So, I chose her."

"Why?" Vader asked.

"Because you need her more than I needed Dooku." (Y/n) answered.

Vader was in disbelief when he heard this. Even now, (Y/n) does his best to help him. Way more than the Jedi or Obi Wan did. This convinces Vader that (Y/n) is truly family, a true brother figure. Vader then looks at Padme before he gently embraces her. Padme returns the embrace while the others watch. (Y/n) was glad to see Vader's reaction as he knew this was a clear step to redeeming him. But he knew that there would be a lot of work to do to get him away from Palpatine's grip. Though, he's sure he can save the man he considers a brother. While this happened, a pair of Battle Droids came over and secured Ethan before guiding him away to put him in a cell.

[Union Academy, Unity City]

Henry had returned to Union Academy and sent one of his soldiers to inform the headmasters that Khan is on the run, but they are actively tracking him down. Henry was now in his office just reflecting on what events have transpired recently. The discovery that his wife was killed by Union not Rebels, his son working with the Rebellion, Khan Alcyon, Union's withering state and more. Henry isn't blind, he can see the writing on the wall, if (Y/n) and the CRS keeps winning, Union will eventually collapse as the Separatist States will join them, and the Rebels will gain immense amounts of resources and power. However, a part of him wants it to happen. His loyalty to Union is all but shattered after the revelation of the truth regarding his wife's death. He's resisting the urge to deploy Order 12 and expose Union for their atrocities and crimes. But he wants to be certain that the world won't be consumed by chaos and that The CRS and Separatist States can handle things. Once he's sure, he'll activate Order 12 and teardown Union's lies.

Fun Fact: While I was writing the hallway scene in Chapter 97, I was listening to Bye Bye Bye the entire time.
