Chapter 119: Battle of Unity Part 1

It took time, but they arrived. The entire CRS-Separatist Fleet arrived at Unity City, and the people of Union could see the largest fleet ever amassed in modern Earth times hovering in the distance. As the Fleet got closer hundreds of transports began leaving their ships and heading for the ground. Pelicans, LAATs, HMPs, Bullheads and C-9979 Transport Crafts all move towards the ground while Vulture Droids, Hyena Bombers, V-Wings, Y-Wing Bombers, and Separatist Sabers protect them during descent. At the eastern wall of the city, Endeavor watched all the ships begin their landings with wide eyes. He clenched his fists as he knew this would be one hell of a fight.

"There.... There are so many of them." A UF Soldier said. "How the hell do we fight that?"

"At least the Air Defense Network is still online." Another UF Soldier said.

"Yeah, but why aren't they firing right now?" the same UF Soldier from before asked.

That's a good question. Endeavor turned to face the city and was curious. Why weren't the guns lighting up the skies right now? Something was up and he didn't like it. So, he pressed his fingers onto his earpiece and got on comms.

"Ironwood, why aren't the guns targeting the enemy Fleet?" Endeavor asked.

"I don't know." Ironwood responded. "I've already dispatched the Ace Ops to investigate."

Far from the wall and amongst the CRS-Separatist forces, (Y/n) steps off an LAAT with Vader and Ahsoka beside him. Tanks took their positions and aimed their cannons at the wall. AT-TE's also aimed their guns. While this happened, Battle Droids, Clone Troopers and Separatist Marines all moved into formation as Warthogs rolled into position. Rex and Nomad walked up to the three Force users.

"Everyone is almost in their positions." Rex said.

"Good. Once the CSIA switches the Air Defense Network to our side, we strike." (Y/n) informs.

"Copy that." Rex said.

"And you think they'll break through?" Ahsoka asked.

"I have a feeling they will." (Y/n) said to her with a smile.

He hears his commlink activate so he listens in.

"Supreme Commander, this is Commander Sarah Briggs, all Titans are ready for Titanfall." Sarah reports.

"Roger that, deploy them when the signal is given." (Y/n) said.

"Will do, sir." Sarah said.

Up in one of the Separatist Airships, Sarah sat in her Titan and addressed her fellow Pilots and their titans.

"Alright people, this is a moment we've all been waiting for." Sarah said. "let's make em hurt!"

Jack climbs into his titan and prepares himself.

"Ready Pilot?" BT asked.

"Always buddy." Jack replied.

Back at the wall of Unity City, Endeavor narrowed his eyes at the enemy before him. They weren't attacking, they were waiting. But waiting for what? He didn't like it one bit. He felt like something bad was about to happen and he couldn't prevent it. It stayed in the back of his mind as the Rebels and Separatists amassed their forces on the ground outside of the city. Their tanks aiming their guns at the wall. He then hears his comms light up.

"Good news, the Air Defense Network is coming online." Vine said.

"What was the hold up?" Endeavor asked.

"Unsure." Vine replied.

The guns on the wall came online and as they did, Endeavor smiled. Before the guns suddenly turned away from the Rebel Fleet and aimed at the United Forces Fleet above the city. Endeavor's eyes widened as his heart skipped a beat.
