Chapter 101: Feelings

After the reunion between Vader and Padme, the group separated. Rex and Nomad went off to continue teaching White Fang Soldiers how to be proper soldiers, Aizawa returned to the Peace Faction's camp outside of Kuo Kuana to report to Nezu, Yor went to find her brother while (Y/n), Vader, Padme, Luna, Anya and Eri remained at the landing zone. (Y/n) was giving Vader as briefing on what he's been doing on Earth and what is currently the plan of action. He told him about the Battle of Bingham, the two Battles of Menagerie, the infiltration at Union Academy, their battle against the Black Rose and waiting for the Separatist States to give them support. At first, Vader didn't understand why (Y/n) didn't just attack the Capital of Union using his superior technology but when (Y/n) explained that he wanted to have the people of Earth take that victory, Vader understood his reasoning.

"Well, that's most of it." (Y/n) said.

He did leave out the Obi Wan part as he didn't know how Vader would react to knowing that Obi Wan was here and is dead. Vader was absorbing all this information, and he must say, (Y/n) has been busy these past few months. That and he's made a lot of progress in building a Rebel faction. He should've expected this as (Y/n) was always the revolutionary type, always fighting against tyranny. Though he did have one question for (Y/n), it wasn't necessarily about the War on Earth.

"That's certainly a lot of work you've done." Vader said. "However, I must ask, have you found someone yet?"

"Found someone?" (Y/n) asked in a confused fashion.

"What he means is have you found a special someone yet." Padme clarified.

"Oh." (Y/n) said, now understanding Vader's question. "No, I haven't."

"Really? No one special comes to mind?" Vader asks.

(Y/n) was about to answer before he thought about it. Is there someone he could consider a special someone? As his mind wanders, one person does come to mind. Yor. When he thinks about her, he will admit she was an anchor for him, but the more he thought about her he noticed he felt weird. His face lightly heats up and his chest feels funny. It then dawns on him.

"I think... I am in love with someone." (Y/n) said in realization.

"Who?" Luna asked.

(Y/n) hesitates but answers.

"Yor."

[Elsewhere]

Yor was with her brother in one of the houses of Kuo Kuana, her brother was actually reading a book he managed to find called Jurassic Park. Yor was just sitting down in thought after recent events. The Assault on the Black Rose Bunker was the closest thing to a warzone that she's experienced. She was a little shaken but that didn't last for long. As her mind wanders, she thinks about (Y/n). What he's done for her, his declaration to fight so she and her brother can have peace, his willingness to fight for others despite the hardships he suffered and what he has done for her. When they first met, she got injured by Grimshaw and (Y/n) didn't hesitate to heal her. He promised to keep her brother safe, and he kept that promise. He's done so much and received so little for it. She can't help but let a smile come to her face as she thinks about (Y/n). They both suffered hardships in their youth yet they both kept going. Her face then heats up as she thinks about (Y/n).

The image of (Y/n) smiling flashes through her mind and a faint shade of pink appears on her face. She then realizes what's happening to her and snaps out of the trace she was in. As she did this, she realized something. She might be falling for (Y/n).

"Something wrong, sis?" Yuri asked, looking up from the book he was reading.

"I.... I think I'm in love with someone." Yor admits.
