CHAPTER 97: The Assault Part 1

Two HMP Gunships and a single Shuttle soar through the skies as they made their way to Luna's location. (Y/n) was leading the trio of ships with his personal fighter as he uses the Force to guide him. He was determined to find his daughter, and nothing was going to stop him from saving her. The HMP Gunships carried the Commando Droids while the shuttle held Ahsoka, Yor, Rex, Nomad, and Aizawa. Nezu had suggested that (Y/n) bring Aizawa as extra help and he agreed. The First Sister was with Altus in Orbit just in case Darth Vader arrived while (Y/n) and the others were away. The more fighters the better. the Force led (Y/n) to Russia and thus he guided his Task Force towards Russia. They arrived in a forest area with a mountain and land at the base of the mountain. The HMP Gunships deploy the Commando Droids while the Shuttle and (Y/n)'s fighter lands in a clearing. (Y/n) gets out of his starfighter while the others exit the shuttle.

(Y/n) looks around and sees nothing but he can still feel Luna's presence coming from this area.

"If we're here, then where is she?" Rex asked.

(Y/n) was about to focus on the Force when he noticed something odd about the base of the mountain. He walked over to it with the others and the Droids following him. He placed his hand against the stone and gently brushed his hand across it.

"What is it?" Nomad asked.

(Y/n) notices a cut, or a crack, in the stone. He traces it and realizes that it's a hidden door.

"Everyone back up." (Y/n) ordered.

The group backs up before (Y/n) uses the Force to rip open the hidden door. As he did, the stone cracks and shatters before he ripped the doors off its hinges and breaks the lock. Stone and metal debris flew after he ripped the door open. He then tossed the two pieces aside and gestured for everyone to follow him as he walked into the base. The Commando Droids hurried inside alongside Rex and Nomad while Ahsoka, Yor and Aizawa follow (Y/n) closely. As they enter the entrance of the base, (Y/n) notices the flag of the Black Rose on the wall.

"Black Rose..." Aizawa said, his voice fading away after he said that.

"You're sure we're at the right spot?" Ahsoka asked.

"Yes, I can feel my daughter's presence getting stronger." (Y/n) said.

Meanwhile within the war room of the base, Khan Alcyon, Kagami Tanaka and Grimshaw were talking before the alarms start blaring. Khan didn't flinch and immediately walked over to one of the consoles which was manned by a Black Rose member. The screen showed security camera footage of the entrance and Khan saw (Y/n) and his Task Force. Grimshaw and Kagami walked over and saw the screen.

"We've been breached." Grimshaw said calmly.

"How was this base found?" Kagami asked.

"Doesn't matter." Khan said. "If they want a fight, we'll give them a fight."

Khan then turned to Grimshaw.

"Handle them, and this time, actually try to kill them." Khan ordered.

Grimshaw nods before walking out of the war room. Kagami then looked to Khan.

"What about me?" Kagami asked.

"Head to Ethan and prevent him from being captured." Khan ordered once again.

"Got it." Kagami said before she rushed out of the war room.

Within her cell, Luna hears the alarms blaring and stops meditating, her focus being broken. Anya and Eria seemed scared as they don't know what is happening. Luna stands up and walked over to them.

"what's happening?" Anya asked, with fear.

"We're being rescued." Luna said.

"What?" Eri asked.

"I think my dad finally found me." Luna said. "He'll get us out of here."

"Are you sure?" Eri asked.

"Certainly." Luna said.

Elsewhere in the base, Black Rose Soldiers had set up themselves in a hallway. At the end of the hallway was a sealed metal door. The soldiers all aimed their rifles at the door as they set up across the hallway. Some of them were setting up a mounted machine gun just in case things got intense. But as they set up the gun, they all heard bending of metal and saw the door was being bent by something. It was then ripped off its hinges breaking the seal and sending pieces of metal flying a short distance. The Soldiers put their fingers on the trigger as they aimed at the now opened door. The door was levitating before it dropped to the floor. (Y/n) stepped into the hall with his lightsaber hilt in hand. Seeing the Black Rose Soldiers, he ignites his lightsaber, and its white glow illuminates the room.

The Soldiers all open fire but (Y/n) brought his hand up and caught the bullets with the Force. The Soldiers stop shooting as they realized it was doing nothing. (Y/n) dropped the bullets and used the Force to grab their guns before throwing them away from their hands. The Soldiers all looked at their hands before grabbing their knives and rushing (Y/n). (Y/n) simply walked forward before he swiftly cut down two of the Soldiers and grabbed the neck of a third with the Force and snapped it. He then tossed the body aside and brought his saber up and blocked the knife strikes of two Soldiers. The knives were cut in half as a result so (Y/n) slashed his blade and cut them both down with one strike. He then used Force Pull to drag a Soldier towards him and he thrust his lightsaber into their chest before using Force push to throw the body into three Soldiers.

The three Soldiers caught their dead comrade before being blasted with Force Lightning. A fourth Soldier rushed forward with a shield that caught the lightning as he charged (Y/n). (Y/n) backed up and sidestepped as the Shield Soldier ran past him. (Y/n) used Force Pull and pulled the Soldier back towards him as he slashed his saber cutting him in half. (Y/n) then swiftly turned while slashing his saber and cut the arm of a Soldier off before he kicked him back. He twirled his saber and sliced twice cutting down two more Soldiers before he spun around and beheaded another Soldier. He then moved forward and stabs his lightsaber into the Soldier on the ground; it was the same soldier who's arm he removed. He removed his saber from the dead soldier and marched forward down the hall.

The Commando Droids soon marched into the hall and rushed to catch up with their leader before Rex, Nomad, Ahsoka, Yor and Aizawa stepped into the hall seeing the death in (Y/n)'s wake.

"Show off." Nomad comments.

"Is this... normal?" Yor asked.

"Unfortunately." Ahsoka answered. "But he usually isn't this ruthless."

(Y/n) reached the end of the hall and used the force to blast it open. He and the group stepped into a room that conveniently had a map with directions on it. How nice. (Y/n) walked over to the map and it was indeed a map of the base. He scanned the map while the Commando Droids stood guard. Aizawa and Ahsoka walked up to the map.

"There." Aizawa said pointing to a part of the map. "That should be where your daughter is held."

(Y/n) looked to where he was pointing and did agree with him.

"Then that's where we're going." (Y/n) said.

[Reclaimer of Independence, Earth's Orbit]

Altus and the First Sister stood in the bridge of the Reclaimer of Independence waiting either for (Y/n) to contact them that the mission was a success or the arrival of Darth Vader. As they waited, the First Sister sensed something and looked at one of the consoles that showed a radar. The radar was blank until it picked up on multiple signals and began beeping.
