Chapter 107: The Mission Part 2

(Y/n)'s team moved down the hall of the Black Rose Bunker with Price and Ghost having their rifles at the ready. Akame has her hand on her sword while Bulat had his Imperial Arms equipped, and Leone had hers activated. (Y/n) held his lightsaber hilt in his right hand ready to turn it on for battle. All Might was in his buff form, ready for combat. The group marches towards the war room of the bunker and on the way, they didn't encounter any Black Rose Soldiers, which was odd and suspicious. As they reach the war room's entrance, the group forms up in front of it. Before Price could even ponder on how they would open the door, (Y/n) uses the force to blast the door open which surprised Price. As the door to the war room dropped, the group piled in and raised their weapons but to their surprise, no one was in the room. (Y/n) turns off his lightsaber as he walks further into the room.

"There's no one here." Ghost points out.

"I'm starting to think that this is a trap." Price said.

"Maybe." (Y/n) said. "Or maybe not."

He then approached one of the consoles as he noticed something on it. The console had a screen that showed a map of the bunker's layout, and one section was highlighted. Price and Ghost walked over to him and saw the screen. Ghost then scanned the control panel before pressing a button and the screen enhanced the image. It switched to a camera view, and it showed Khan Alcyon standing in the middle of a large chamber.

"There he is." Price said.

"All alone?" Ghost asked, confused. "What is he waiting for us?"

(Y/n) gave it some thought that this might be a trap. He'd fallen into one of Khan's before, the same trap that led to Obi Wan's death. This time he wasn't making that mistake again. But then another thought came to mind. Perhaps Khan isn't baiting them into a trap, maybe he's accepting his fate. If that's the case, then (Y/n) will oblige and give him death.

"He's accepting his fate." (Y/n) said.

"Then let's bring him death." Leone said.

Meanwhile within the hanger of the bunker, The Ace Ops, Henry, Soap and Roach enter the large room only to find a number of Black Rose Soldiers. The Soldiers turn to the group and stare for a moment before grabbing their weapons as the group begins the battle. Henry takes out his Energy Revolver and pulls the trigger twice. Both bolts of energy strike their target and take them down in one shot. Roach and Soap take cover and exchange fire with the soldiers while the Ace Ops charge in to fight them. Harriet uses her speed to dodge the bullets and strike down multiple Soldiers while the other Ace Ops eliminate their targets their own way. Elm uses her weapon to knock a soldier to the side before transforming it into the rocket launcher form and firing once. The rocket races towards a dropship and blows it up killing a number of Black Rose Soldiers.

As Clover throws a soldier into another soldier, he notices some kind of black mist filling the room. Thinking it's a power he yells out.

"We've got an Empowered!" Clover shouts.

Henry notices the mist and his eyes widen briefly. He knows who this is but (Y/n) said he was dead. The Black Rose Soldiers notice the mist and regroup. Soap and Roach are confused by the mist before a figure emerges from the mist in between the two groups. Grimshaw. He grabs his swords and brings them out before encasing them in a pitch-black colored energy before this energy hardens around the blades. The Ace Ops recognized him as the one who was helping Henry before he suddenly vanished. They know who Grimshaw is.

"Grimshaw? I thought (Y/n) said he was dead." Marrow said.

"He must have lied to us." Harriet said with hatred.

"I don't think so." Henry said.

He can tell when someone is lying and (Y/n) wasn't when he told him that Grimshaw was dead. Grimshaw scans the room and the Ace Ops. He knows about them and knows who the leader is, so he targets him first. Clover took his eyes off Grimshaw and faced his team. But before he could speak, Grimshaw charged at blinding speeds.

"Clover, look out!" Elm shouted.

Clover grabbed his weapon but was too slow as Grimshaw reached him and thrust his sword into him. The Assassin's blade bypasses Clover's aura and rips through him. This shocked the Ace Ops as well as Soap and Roach. Henry not so much as he knew what Grimshaw is capable of. Grimshaw kicks Clover off his blade before he uses both swords to deflect bullets being fired at him from Marrow as the rest of the Ace Ops charge in. The remaining Black Rose Soldiers resume their assault on the others forcing Henry to take cover. Vine grabs his weapon and throws it like a frisbee at Grimshaw, but the assassin just slices it in half. Elm and Harriet both charged in together and when they reached Grimshaw they both leap into the air to try and attack him from above.

Grimshaw tracked their movements and dashed backwards dodging their combined attack. Harriet activates her semblance in rage for Clover and charges Grimshaw. When she reaches the assassin, she throws a barrage of punches that Grimshaw dodges. He then sheathed one of his swords and caught her fist shocking Harriet before he twisted her arm and then delivered a strong front kick to the chest knocking her back a good distance and she collided with Marrow. Elm and Vine look at each other and nod to one another before Elm charges in with Vine following soon after. Grimshaw, with one sword, taunts the two to come at him as they approach. Elm activates her weapon's Hard-Light shielding which is an upgrade given to her by the UIB.

Grimshaw and Elm's weapons clash in the middle while Vine moves around the two before stopping and activating his Semblance. He sends out two Aura vines from his hands in an attempt to restrain Grimshaw, but the assassin sensed this and breaks the blade lock with Elm and leaps backwards. Vine recalls his Aura vines as Elm charged at Grimshaw. Harriet gets back up and uses her semblance to rush towards Grimshaw before Marrow can get back up and grab his weapon. As this happened, Soap decides to report this to Price and Ghost. Elsewhere in the base, (Y/n) and his team leave the war room after determining the best route to take to get to Khan. Price then hears his radio go off.

"Price! It's Soap! We've been engaged by an Empowered by the name of Grimshaw." Soap reports over comms.

(Y/n) heard this.

"What?" (Y/n) asked in total disbelief.

He's certain Vader killed Grimshaw. So how the hell is he here?

"Do you need back up?" Price asked.

"The Ace Ops are fighting Grimshaw, but it seems like they might be losing." Soap said. "One of them is already dead."

"Tell him I'm on my way." (Y/n) said.

"What about Khan?" Ghost asked.

"All Might can handle him, that's why he's with us after all." (Y/n) said before turning to the three Night Raid members. "Go with All Might incase he needs the back up."

Akame nods. All Might then motions for the Night Raid members to follow him as they hurry down the hall to find Khan and take him down. Price and Ghost stay with (Y/n).

"We're coming with you." Ghost said.

"Very well then, let's get going." (Y/n) said before he began to run down the hall.

Price and Ghost follow him down the hall.

Alright after the Rogue Rebel Arc is one more Major Arc, then a short Arc and finally a planned Epilogue Arc before this story is finally finished. the next Major Arc is called:

THE GREAT REVOLUTIONARY WAR ARC

after that is the short Arc which so far is called:

THE FALL OF TYRANNY ARC

then after that is the Epilogue Arc. Which Arc are ya'll most excited for?
