CHAPTER 81: Escape Union Part 3

(Y/n) and the others made their way to the exit of the Staff Only Section with their weapons in hand. Dolion knew he was being rescued but was worried how his father would react. But his father is involved in Evil, yet he's still his father. If Henry gets in the way, he can't bring himself to fight his own father. So, he's hoping they don't encounter him while they escape. They get out of the Staff Only Section building and they all stop as they see a ton of UF Soldiers waiting for them. The UF Soldiers and UF Heavies aim their guns at them.

UF Soldier: "Lower your weapons! Your completely outnumbered!" he ordered.

Dolion was about to do so but he noticed that the others didn't.

Dolion: "Uh, you guys know we're outnumbered right?" he asks.

(Y/n): "Oh I know. But these idiots lost the second they challenged me." He said while looking at the UF Soldiers.

The UF Soldiers and Heavies look at each other in a confused fashion.

UF Heavy: "What on Earth are you talking about? We have you outgunned and surrounded." he said.

(Y/n): "I wouldn't say so." he said, turning his lightsaber off and clipping it to his belt.

Dolion was about to speak but Jackson stopped him by putting his hand up.

Jackson: "Trust him." He whispers to Dolion.

Dolion just listens and watches. The wind howls as the UF Soldiers and Heavies aimed their guns at our heroes. (Y/n) then raised his hands and all the UF Soldiers and UF Heavies reach for their necks before they are lifted up into the air. Dolion was amazed by this show of power. (Y/n) closed his fists and a sickening cracking sound is heard from all the United Forces Infantry. Dolion winces and cringes at the sound. (Y/n) drops the bodies and many thuds follow.

(Y/n): "Alright, we're clear." he said. "For now, at least."

Qrow: "Let's hurry for the landing zone and get on that spare UH-70." he ordered.

The group made haste and moved through the Academy to reach the landing zone. They encountered occasional UF Soldiers but took them out. They eventually reach the landing zone and make a run for the UH-70. But as they get close, a strange black mist swirls around the UH-70 and culminates on the top of the UH-70 in a swirling cloud. The black smoke subsides as Grimshaw steps out of it. (Y/n) recognizes him as the one who attacked Yor when they first met. Jackson, Raven and Dolion recognize him too.

Qrow: "Grimshaw." he said, shocked to see the assassin.

(Y/n): "Seems we're all well aware of who he is." he comments.

Najenda: "Grimshaw is the best assassin in the world. But what is he doing here?" She spoke.

Grimshaw steps off the top of the UH-70 and unsheathes his two swords once he lands on the ground. (Y/n) grabbed his lightsaber and ignites the white blade.

(Y/n): "Get to the dropship, I'll distract him." he said.

Within seconds, Grimshaw charged the group with his two swords. The group besides (Y/n) dodge and get out of the way. (Y/n) side steps and dodges both blades from striking him causing Grimshaw to fly past him. But Grimshaw skids to a halt before he turns around and faces (Y/n). The others make a run for the dropship and get on board. Jackson gets into the pilot seat of the dropship and begins to turn the dropship on.

Najenda: "Remember how to fly one of these?" she asks.

Jackson: "Sure do."

(Y/n) assumes a combat stance while Grimshaw just stands there. Dolion stood inside the dropship and looked at (Y/n). The tension was thick as both seasoned fighters stood at the ready. But to everyone's shock, Grimshaw sheathes his swords as a black cloud appears behind him. He then backs up into the cloud and disappears into it. The cloud dissipates and Grimshaw is gone. (Y/n) was surprised by this act but looked around incase Grimshaw was just invisible. After a few moments, he sees and senses nothing, so he turns his lightsaber off. He then spots UF Soldiers rushing towards them, so he turned and ran to the dropship. He jumps into the dropship as the UF Soldiers open fire.
