Chapter 117: Plan the Battle

About a day or so has passed since (Y/n) returned to Kuo Kuana and things were moving. He ordered all the Droids in Kuo Kuana be transported back to the Fleet in preparation for the attack on Unity City, White Fang Soldiers also gave a sizeable detachment of their Forces to the Fleet. Speaking of the Fleet, the entire Fleet is now hovering above Kuo Kuana. Everyone is currently preparing themselves to move out once the Separatist States arrive with their Military. The CRS Council had all gathered in Ghira's office to discuss their battle plan for The Battle of Unity City. Thomas was present via Hologram. (Y/n) looked around the room and saw the Rebel leaders who helped forge this rebellion and the other essential commanders who helped maintain it. Everything was leading up to this moment. He could see the anticipation in their eyes; their world is so close to freedom after all these years of oppression under Union's regime. It's all about to come to a crashing end.

"Alright, this day has been coming for a long time." (Y/n) starts. "We've been preparing for this, gathering resources, making alliances. Now, we're ready for the main event."

(Y/n) lets a hologram of Unity City appear in front of everyone.

"Capturing Unity City is our objective." (Y/n) said. "But it won't be easy, this city was heavily defended. More so than Fort Bingham. So, we'll need combined arms tactics to crack their defenses and breach their walls. However, the main source of pain to us will be the City's Anti-Air Defense Network."

The hologram adjusted to show the locations of the known AA Gun emplacements.

"Thankfully they are like the ones from Fort Bingham, they're all controlled by a central control tower within the city's military district. No doubt, they will be heavily defended. But taking the Anti-Air Defense Network offline will be step one." (Y/n) explains. "Though unlike Bingham, this time we won't need an insertion team."

"What do you mean?" Raven asked.

(Y/n) turned his head to Thomas who took it as his signal.

"CSIA Agents have been chipping away at the Defense Network's firewall for hours now. By my estimation, they should break through by tomorrow." Thomas explains.

"When that happens, the CSIA will have complete control over the guns allowing us to turn them against the United Forces." (Y/n) adds. "But getting into the city will be step two."

The hologram changes once more to show the walls around the city and soon images of the combined CRS and Separatist Fleet appear outside of the city.

"With the guns on our side, our combined Fleet can focus its attention on supporting our ground assault and attacking the Union Fleet that has been gathering its numbers." (Y/n) said. "The Ground assault's objective is to seize key locations in the city and push towards Union Academy. When the Academy falls under our control we hang our flags over Union's prized possession. But with access to the Academy, we'll also have access to UIB servers which house all the records of Union's atrocities. With it under our control we can expose all of Union's lies and evil to the world."

"And to Unioners who remain loyal?" Jackson asked.

"We'll handle it. But for now, our focus is attacking and seizing Unity City." (Y/n) said. "However, we hit yet another potential roadblock."

The hologram changes once again and instead of showing Unity City it shows the route they'll take to the city on a world map.

"The United Forces will either have forces waiting to intercept us or they'll be focusing their resources onto Unity City only." (Y/n) said.

"Knowing the headmasters, they'll focus all their attention onto Unity City." Jackson said.

"But we shouldn't expect a clear path to Unity City." Najenda said. "We'll need to merge Fleets if we are to reach Unity City."
