CHAPTER 92: Tragedy

(Y/n) laid on the ground in pain before Ahsoka hurried over to him and went to help him up, but (Y/n) used Force Heal to fix his leg and partially fix his arm. After that, Ahsoka helped him onto his feet before the two hurried over to Obi Wan's body. When they reached him, (Y/n) turned him over onto his back and then checked for a pulse. If he had one, (Y/n) thought he could use Force Heal to save his life. But he couldn't find any spark of life. Ahsoka looked at (Y/n), almost pleading for an answer. All (Y/n) did was shake his head telling her that it's too late. This caused Ahsoka to be overcome with sorrow at losing a close friend. Then, they heard engines and looked up to see another shuttle. The shuttle lands and from it came Commando Droids who spread out before they noticed the body of Obi Wan. The Droids moved to them and surrounded them.

"Is General Kenobi.... gone?" One of the droids asked.

(Y/n) nods. The Droids looked at each other before.

"How did you get here so fast?" Ahsoka asked through her sorrow.

"Altus detected your shuttles beacon going offline and sent us." the same Commando Droid said.

(Y/n) uses his Lightsaber to cauterize Obi Wan's wound before he turns his weapon off and clips it to his belt. He then grabs Obi Wan's Lightsaber before he picks his body up and begins to walk to the shuttle. The Droids step aside and let their leader past them. Ahsoka stands up and followed (Y/n), soon the Commando Droids do the same. Once they're all on the shuttle, the door closes as (Y/n) placed Obi Wan's body on the floor. As the shuttle takes off, (Y/n) looked at Obi Wan's Lightsaber. A friend died today, and his daughter was captured by the enemy. Emotions were swirling in his mind, but he had to maintain control.

[Short Timeskip]

In Kuo Kuana, Rex and Padme were waiting at the landing zone for (Y/n) and the others to return. With them was Nomad, Najenda, Jackson, Ghira, Nezu, Sienna and Adam. When the shuttle arrives and landed, they prepared to greet the group. But when the door opened and ramp dropped. Commando Droids marched off which confused them. Then, what they saw stunned them. (Y/n) walking out with Obi Wan's body in his arms and Ahsoka behind him. Rex and Padme were stunned with Rex clenching his fists. Nomad looked down towards the ground, bowing his head. Ghira, Sienna and Adam stood shocked with Adam clenching his fists. Najenda gasped slightly as Jackson took his hat off and placed it on his chest. Faunus all around them also reacted with shock and sorrow. Obi Wan was a hero in their eyes, he helped defend Menagerie during the Second Battle of Menagerie. White Fang Soldiers bowed their heads. (Y/n) approached the waiting group before he stopped in front of them.

Najenda realized another person was missing.

"Where's Luna?" Najenda asked.

(Y/n) at first said nothing, but he eventually spoke.

"Captured. By Khan Alcyon." (Y/n) said.

Those who knew the name gasped. Jackson was stunned to hear this.

"he's back?" Jackson asked.

"How?" Najenda asked.

"We'll discuss this later." (Y/n) said. "We need to give Obi Wan a proper burial."

The group exchanged glances before stepping aside. (Y/n) was taking Obi Wan's body to the hospital that was set up in Kuo Kuana for now. When he reached the hospital, he handed Obi Wan's body over to the Medical Droids and medics to prepare his body for a proper burial and funeral. After he did that, he stepped out of the hospital and just stood there in thought. He then moved over and sat down on a bench near the hospital. Someone noticed the turmoil going through his mind and it was Yor. She was walking down the street, and she saw (Y/n) sitting there with emotions swirling in his mind. She could tell which ones. Anxiety, Anger and Sorrow. So, she approached to see what was wrong. (Y/n) was so caught up in his emotions that he failed to notice her approaching.
