A crack of thunder echoed across the endless void as Ruby Rose and Raven stood before the edge of the Abyss. The landscape around them was nothing but a swirling vortex of color and chaos. Every inch of the Abyss seemed to bend reality itself, as if time, space, and matter were as malleable as clay in the hands of the gods. The Fiery Core lay somewhere within this twisted dimension, a source of unimaginable power, capable of reshaping the very fabric of existence itself. But it wasn't just the Fiery Core they sought... it was the key to stopping the impending rise of General Ironwood, a being who threatened to erase all of reality.
Raven:" Stay sharp, Rose." Raven said, her voice a whisper lost in the maelstrom of swirling shadows. Her eyes glinted with an intensity that only someone who had faced the worst horrors of the multiverse could understand.
Raven:" The Abyss doesn't just twist the land. It warps minds. Reality bends to its whims."
Ruby:" I'm used to bending reality." she replied, her crimson energy swirling around her hands. The air vibrated with her power, a force that could rewrite the very laws of the universe. She looked out across the Abyss, her eyes narrowing.
Ruby:" But nothing prepared me for this."
The ground beneath them seemed to pulse with malevolent energy, as if the Abyss itself were alive. As the two women began to walk forward, the landscape shifted in impossible ways, mountains rose from the earth only to crumble back into the darkness, rivers of fire and ice flowed side by side, and strange creatures from other dimensions slithered through the air. But they were not here for the Abyss itself. They were here for the Fiery Core and they were prepared to face whatever came in their way.
But the first challenge revealed itself quicker than they expected.
Suddenly, the sky above them cracked open, and from the tear emerged a towering figure—clad in black and silver armor, with a face hidden behind a jagged mask of steel. The ground trembled with every step as he descended, his very presence sending waves of power rippling through the Abyss. His voice, when it came, was a low, rumbling growl.
"You dare trespass in my domain?"
The figure's voice echoed across the wasteland, and Raven's eyes widened in recognition.
Raven:"Brother..." she muttered under her breath, her tone a mixture of disbelief and fury.
Raven:"Why are you here?"
The masked figure known as Father Qrow stepped forward, his imposing form casting a long shadow across the desolate land. His eyes, glowing like molten steel, fixed on his sister Raven. He spoke with a chilling calmness.
Qrow:"Our Lord calls to me. And I will not let you or anyone else take the Fiery Core from me."
