China looked at the table, benches empty. The wind blew, a cool reminder of the incoming rain. Leaves have come to lay on the empty space, the table. Days like this were spent with friends. Now, Iran, Iraq, and India were despondent.
Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam were virtually forced to remain at ASEAN's, lest other countries suspected them of being enemies. Cuba saw no purpose in going out if the others weren't there. And North Korea... was with Martial Law.It seemed that everyone forgot how to come together after Russia started isolating himself. China watched the wind pick up one of the leaves and blow it away, off to the direction of the sea. He turned and walked another way.
If Russia couldn't contact BRICS, he could. However, BRICS seemed unable to respond. Most of the time. China was only able to contact him sometimes. It seemed as if there was a strong mental barrier. He had asked South Africa and Brazil about it. They answered that it was fine, though they acknowledged that something wasn't right. Their access to BRICS seemed limited. And the other Organizations were occupied, leaving the countries unable to contact them effectively.
It was dangerous. If there was an enemy that knew of their lack of communication, that weakness could be exposed and used against them. Currently, there was one that China knew of, the one that Russia mentioned. Third Reich, it seemed, might've been acquainted with Soviet somehow.
China looked to the forest.
They may be grasping at strings here, but one of them had to bring down the puppeteer..
..
North Korea yawned, leaned back on his chair, glanced at the window. It was almost sundown. Lately, there's been a high amount of tension between him and South, just like Russia and Ukraine. It seemed that things were getting worse and worse. Absolutely nothing was getting better, unless it was just Martial no longer trying to kill him.
He planned on checking up on Russia, and see how he was doing. North was half-convinced that he had to call Cuba to check Russia's mental sanity. The Hermit Kingdom knew that that amount of isolationism was unhealthy.
He stretched his arms, hearing a crack at his right elbow. How long had he been sitting there, trying to figure out what to do? Getting off his seat, North went down the stairs, glanced at South Korea, and walked past.
"North, where are you going?" South asked behind him. His voice sounded neutral, for now. North Korea tensed up.
"You don't need to know," North turned to face him, annoyed. "Just go back to whatever you were doing."
"I'm just worried about you."
"Yeah, of course you are."
South looked just as annoyed as North. "Why can't you take me seriously?"
North shrugged, "Probably because I simply can't find a reason to."
"You're looking for Russia again, aren't you?" His twin sounded disappointed. North's uninterested expression told him he didn't care. South Korea usually tried to hold back his temper, but North just didn't seem to be listening to him, at all!
"Do you know what will happen if you continue to stay with him?" South burst out. "Other countries are already suspicious of-"
"You mean the West," North snapped. "Because as far as I can tell, they seem to have a problem with me even existing.
But you don't care about that do you? You only care about what they think of me." North glared at him.
South Korea clenched his fists, frustrated that North didn't understand.
"Of course I don't only care about that. But if other countries think about you negatively, you can end up getting hurt!" South argued back, willing him to understand.
