Sidri gently placed the babe in its cradle and walked back to the bed where Maria lay. "Do not cry and waste tears, you mustn't doubt my love for you anymore, it kills me to think you don't have faith in me Maria."

"I never said I don't have faith in you." She told him, as more tears glided down her beautiful face.

"Then why are you crying, do you think my love for you is so little that I would allow the woman of my heart to perish?"

"Oh Sidri face it, I will get old while you remain your beautiful young self, and when my times comes for me to die, not even you can save me!" She cried.

"Woman of little faith, no matter how old you get, I will never stop loving you! You are my soulmate, and as such, I will move heaven and earth to keep you, have you not realized yet the depth of my love for you?" He asked her hoasely.

"You are not God Sidri, and although you are gifted and talented, and strong and powerful, you can not keep me forever, I will die!"

Sidri grabbed Maria by her shoulders and pulled her into his arms, "You are mine, I love you, and I promise you Maria, I shall not let you die!"

Maria closed her eyes and cried even more, she loved the Fay very much, but Sidri was delusional, there was nothing he could do to stop old age and death.

Isabella watched Camran come for her and her heart beat wildly against her chest. He was going to ask her for her hand in marriage!

"Come Isabella, walk with me, there is something I want to ask you." Without even waiting for Isabella to respond, he grabbed her hand in his and pulled her away from the crowds. "and I want to introduce you to my family."

The Druidess said nothing as she walked besides him, her heart sank with grief, this was it she thought sadly, if Silas doesn't stop this she will find herself bethrothed to another man.

"Tis a beautiful night Isabella," he told her, as he pulled her gently by the shoreline.

it was a starry moonless night, one made for lovers. Stopping abruptly, the Druid turned Isabella around to face him. "Marry me Isabella, marry me tonight!"

"What?"

"Marry me!" He told her and pulled her into his strong amd possesive arms. "I need you Isabella!"

Isabella wanted to run for her life, but there was no where for her to run to. She knew that this was it, The sad truth was Silas didn't want her, and he will never come after her.

The Druid read the truth in Isabella's eyes and his jaw twitched with anger. She still wanted the bastard, but he would be damned if he was going to hand her over to him!

"Tell me what you are thinking Isabella, don't leave me in the dark."

"I will marry you," she told him, "but not now, I need time to prepare, I want a huge wedding, it has always been a dream of mine."

She lied to him, wanting to prolong the wedding day as much as possible, mayhap she thought, Silas will come to his senses and realize he is in love with her before the wedding date, but the more she thought about it, the more she knew that he will never want her, because he was not in love with her. Her shoulders sagged and she forced back her tears not wanting Camran to witness the truth.

Camran watched all the emotions play out in her eyes and he cursed under his breath. "Fine, we can get married in a few weeks, but I want you to come to Kenningsworth with me until then, I shall not have my betrothed so far away from me!" He knew that if he left her behind, Silas would not hesitate to take her to his bed again.

"Yes I will come with you as long as you give me your word that you will remain a gentleman until our marriage bed."

"You have my word Isabella, I will honor your request and wait, but I will have you from the waist up!" He declared, before he dipped his head and his lips pressed against the nape of her neck.

***********

Word spread like wildfire throughout the festival, and it wasn't long before Silas got word that Isabella was betrothed to Camran. Whipping the empty whiskey bottle against a huge barrel of water, he watched as it shattered into a thousand tiny fragments on the plush green grass. Servants rushed to clean up the mess, but Silas paid no heed, he was already searching for another bottle of whiskey, knowing that this was going to be a long night full of pain and suffering.

***********

Patrick fell backwards, Bruce's iron fists almost smashed his jaw. "Bastard!" He cursed under his breath before he lifted himself back to his feet.

Camille gasped with surprise, and pulled the ivory sheet to cover her bare breasts. "Please, my name is Camille and I am the princess of Lennox, you have made a terrible mistake!" She pleaded.

Bruce looked at her with disgust, she dare to speak lies to him thinking him a fool! "You betrayed our love Liandra, had you thrown a spear through my heart the pain would have been less!" He told her in a tortured voice.

"She speaks the truth brother, this is Camille, my soulmate and she is identical twin to Liandra." Patrick said, as he wiped the trickle of blood off his swollen jaw.

Frozen in the moment, Bruce was confused by his brothers words. "what the hell are you talking about!" He growled, and Patrick spent the next half hour explaining everything to Bruce.

Bruce was dumbfounded with all that was revealed to him, and when his brother was done explaining, he made a mad dash back into the forest to find his soulmate.
