All the women and children at Sterlingshire were gathered in the courtyard and they were not happy to be there. They were told what was going on, but they felt that they were not in any kind of danger, because they were from a different era, and not from the future.

"I don't see why we are at risk, what ever happens at Time Square has nothing to do with us but the future!" Violet argued. 

"It has everything to do with us, if we lose the battle and they steal the crystal before we can get to it, do you have any idea what that means for us? With that Crystal they can enter our world and destroy us all!" Michael explained, and finally got everyone's attention.

"How would they know how to come to our world?" Violet argued, but even as she mouthed those words, she knew the answer to her question.

All eyes turned to Michael and he knew that if he answered that question he would strike terror into their hearts, but he had no choice but to tell the truth. His eyes fell on Kyra who stood a few feet away from him, she was the reason he lived in this crazy world that was filled with evil and madness, it was all because of her, she was the air that he breathed, without her he would have ended his miserable life a long time ago.

Michaels vivid blue eyes met and locked with Kyra's and he silently told her that he loved her. A single tear glided down Kyra's beautiful face, no one understood Michael as she did, and she knew that they were in deep trouble this time. Her eyes glided to where Nessa stood, she was holding her little girls hand and she too was crying. Kyra eyes caught Hawk who was standing at the right of Michael as he beat his chest once with his fist, while he stared directly at Nessa, he was telling her that he loved her.

Hawk just wanted to take his wife and daughters and disappear into his realm. He wanted to spend the last hours before he left with his family, but he knew that that was impossible. There was a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach about New York, but he told no one, not wanting to alarm the women and children and especially his family. If something were to happen to his children and worst of all, his wife Nessa, he would not be able to live in a world without them. He would find a way to finish his life, and join them where ever that may be.

"Evil knows everything, and they will come and destroy our dimension if they have the crystal. Please don't ask anymore questions, there are children here who should not be hearing all this. Hawk and Kalan will assist you to their realm and there you shall stay until we come for you. Go in peace and pray for our salvation!" Was all Michael said, before he headed straight to Kyra and pulled her in his arms. 

"My heart, stay alive and I will come for you!" He whispered hoarsely in her ear, and squeezed her tightly in his arms.

"Aye, and if you don't come back I shall end my life Michael, I shall not live in a world that you don't exist in!" She whispered back. Michael lowered his head and pressed his lips on the nape of her neck. Kyra felt his tears drop on her shoulders and pressed her body against his, "Please come back to me!" She cried.

Hawk held his wife and little daughter in his arms. "Promise me that you shall come quickly to get us Hawk!" Nessa begged.

Hawk stiffened, he knew that there was a big chance that he might not return, but he would never admit that to her, and even if he did return, would she still be there waiting for him, or would evil have beat him to it? What if he was wrong and the women and children where not really safe in Fay land, then what? 

"I promise." He told his wife in a painful torturd voice, and she looked up at him and tears of understanding spilled from her eyes. 

"You must keep your promise Hawk, or you know what I will do if you don't return!" She threatened.
