Like an animal she was caged, and living her worst nightmare. Valerie sat in the corner in a fetal position, crying her heart out when the Queen came to her.

"Valerie stop crying and listen to what I have to say, there is not much time before the King gets notified that I'm here and all hell breaks loose." Wrapping her delicate hands around the rusted iron bars, the Queen expelled a sigh of relief when Valerie lifted her head and stopped crying. "I am going to try and help you escape, stay strong until I figure it out. I have to go back now, but soon I will come up with a way to get you out of here!"

"Thank you." Valerie whispered, as fresh tears gilded down her face,  "but please don't do anything to get the King mad at you, or his wrath shall be upon you. Don't worry about me, my father will come and rescue me, it's only a matter of time."

"My Queen, hurry, tis not safe for you to be down here, if the King finds you, he will make you pay for the deceit!" Rufus told her, as he stepped out of the shadows and pulled her gently by the arm.

Valerie could not help but notice the tender way the Kings second in command spoke to the Queen, "You must help me get this child out of here Rufus."

"Aye, I will find a way, of this I promise you!"

"Rufus, go to the Macalisters and tell them everything, they must save her, I fear the King will use the cat o nine on her come morning, and her body won't be able to handle it!" The Queen cried.

"I will ride all night if I gave too, to deliver the message." He told her, "but I must see to your safety first. Come, let us leave now."

The Queen turned to look at Valerie who had lifted herself to her feet and shuddered as a rat raced across the prison cell. "I must leave now, but I will be back for you." She told Valerie, before Rufus pulled her away.

The Druidess watched them leave and slammed her body up against the cold, stone wall. There was barely enough light, with only one torch lit all the way by the stairs, but that was enough to witness Rufus kiss the Queen on the mouth before he guided her up the stairs and away from the dungeon.

Their having an affair, Valerie thought with amazement, but who was she to judge, everyone knew the Kings reputation with the women, it was no wonder that the Queen seeked affection elsewhere. Focusing back on her whereabouts, Valerie knew that if she wasn't rescued before sunrise, she would be tortured by the Kings hand, and having tasted his wrath before, she knew that she was in a lot of trouble.

Her heart raced with worry, why had William abandon her, she thought, why would he rebuke her in front of his people without giving her a chance to explain herself? Gliding her body all the way back down to the dirt ground, Valerie threw her face in her hands and cried her heart out.

"Kill her!" Basillia said through her clenched jaw, "get rid of her and place me on the throne!"

The King closed his eyes as Basillia placed herself over his shaft. Wrapping his hands around her waist,   he pulled her down and his body trembled excitedly as she moved herself swiftly amd without mercy.

"Cut her head off, avenge me!" Basillia cried, "Make her pay for the insult against me, and in return I will give myself to you completely!"

Moving up and down and all around, like a bitch in heat, Basillia had the King exactly where she wanted him, in the palms of her hands. She watched with cold eyes as he shook violently beneath her, and she pressed herself even more against him, wanting to make sure his seed was planted deep inside her. She needed a child desperately, be it the Kings or Williams.
