Stephan walked through the rubble and swore under his breath. He wanted to tell his father of this coming disaster before it even happened, but his hands were tied. Speaking of the future and changing its course would have created something ten times worse.
Threading his fingers through his thick mane of hair, Stephan closed his eyes and took a deep breath of inhalation. He hated the burden of knowing the future that he was blessed with. To him it was a curse not a blessing to know of up coming events, especially this unfortunate disaster that befell Scotland.
"Why did you not warn us of this catastrophe!" Seth barked from behind.
Stephan turned around and faced his cousin, "Because nothing good would have come out of this, why are you questioning my actions?"
"Because we both have wives who are not immortal and they could have died!" Seth yelled, "you are gifted with insight but do not use your gifts and talents to help your people! Where is the faucken Holy Grail, will you keep that information from us too? Do you care so little about Amira that you would not let her drink from the Cup to gain immortality?"
"This is not the right time to speak of the Holy Grail, look around you, do you not see that danger creeps all around us? Our home is gone, our women stay on Fay land, the demons are still at large and all you can think of is immortality?" Stephan argued, before he turned on his heel and walked away, frustrated that his selfish cousin was only thinking about himself.
Seething with anger, Seth marched behind Stephan and grabbed him by his shoulders. Whirling him around, his cold eyes searched Stephan's for answers. "You are the Savior of the World, but your title does not befit you!" He growled, "if anything happens to my wife and daughter, I will personally see to it that you suffer a worse fate than them!"
"The women are safe where they are, stop worrying about them and focus on the task at hand. We have serious things to discuss and take care of. We must kill the remaining demons and then rebuild our home!" Stephan was losing his patience with Seth, "do your duty and stop causing trouble, or I will have to talk to uncle Edward to put a leash on you!"
Stephan's harsh words hit a nerve and the Seth jumped on his cousin and knocked him to his knees.
"You bastard!" Seth roared, "I am sick and tired of your indifference to the fact that our women are not under our protection, I don't trust the fays, Hawk is not their to protect them!"
With the strength of ten lions Stephan pushed Seth off of him and lifted himself to is feet, "Protect them from what, they are not the enemy! They are Seelie Fays, the Unseelie have no access to their realm!"
"And what about the damn Seelie's sex drive?" Seth yelled, "our women are probably at this minute in the middle of sexual acts, are you not the least bit worried knowing that the Fay courtyards are always active with orgies?"
"Man of little faith, if your wife Kristina finds out that you think so little of her, she will maim you!"
"You fool, My wife and my daughter are pure and I trust them, but have you never heard of stardust? If that pink stuff is sprinkled over our women they will be hypnotized to join the orgies!"
Stephan clenched his jaw as anger shook him to the core, but he said nothing. Clearly Seth was dealing with his own demons, had Kristina done something wrong to cause all the insecurities in Seth's heart?
Taking a deep breath of inhalation, the savior of the world knew that it would be a waste of his time to continue arguing with Seth, so Stephan walked away leaving behind a tortured soul.
