Both Warriors squirmed where they were standing, they looked at each other quietly, each waiting for the other to go first. Alana noticed their discomfort and wanted to laugh her head off, these were not men, they were mice, she thought with dismay, as she waited to see if and who would go first.

Lucious who always worshipped the ground Abby walked on and who was the only one that gave his woman a lashing, decided that he had a lot of making up to do. Sinking to his knees in front of his soulmate, he wrapped his arms around her legs, and wept. The Druid did not care anymore what anyone thought of him, he loved his wife more than he loved his own life and he was extremely remorseful for what he had done to her. He allowed his anger and manly pride to overpower him and not once taking into consideration that Abby loved him and always allowed him to be the man that he needed to be, even though she was the Queen on her own homeland. She always put him first, and loved him to no end, and he payed her back by whipping her!

"Abby." He whispers her name hoarsely, "forgive me."

Tears streamed down Abby's lovely face, she loved her husband, but he had done her wrong. Abby could not forgive him at this time, she needed time to heal. The Valkyrie Queen remained quiet, unable to give Lucious what he wanted.

Weeping in public over a woman was the last thing that Lucious thought he would ever do, but he would do it all over again if he knew she would forgive him. He was heartbroken that Abby chose not to forgive him at this time, and he knew that he had a long journey ahead of him until she forgave him, but he was going to wait forever if he had too, for he could not live without her love, he would rather be dead.

Lifting himself to his full height, the giant warrior looked down at his wife with love and acceptance of the way she felt in her heart. He felt no prejudice of her feelings against him, he was wrong and she was right, and he would be her slave till the end of times just to show her how much he loved and adored her  and how sorry he was.

The King was next and all eyes fell on him. He swallowed and turned to face Violet, who was staring at him with laughter in her eyes. Mocking him, punishing him for all that he had done to her. Kalan was glad that his people were not here to witness him begging for forgiveness, after all, he was their King and he needed to keep his pride in tact.

Clearing his throat, the King hesitated a second before he said, "I did what I did because I love you too much and wanted to keep you safe!"

Alana wanted to burst out with laughter, she had heard through the grape vine that he was very romantic and even spoke poetically to his soulmate, yet now he just cut it short and thought that it would be enough!

Kalan watched Violet very carefully, he knew that she was angry that he chose to apologize in such a way because everyone watching, but surely she didn't want him to get on his hands and knees in front of everyone and recite a poem to her, did she? He was the King of Fays, he could never hold his head up high again if he kneeled before a woman in front of witnesses! She would just have to wait until they were alone in their bedchamber and then he will willingly recite to her all the poetic love words she wants to hear.

Violet's eyes where hazed with hatred, she was no fool, she knew her soulmate was a man first and a lover second, but to her, Lucious was the real man who got down on his knees to show the woman that he loved that he was worthy of her. Kalan's big fat ego wouldn't allow him to beg for forgiveness for the woman that he claimed he loved. He didn't even ask for forgiveness, he merely told her that he loved her enough to punish her for her own good!

Bastard!!!

"I will never forgive you!" Violets cold voice dripped droplets off crystals, and everyone around them were surprised by her choice of words.

Kalan stiffened and glanced quickly around the courtyard, before he rested his golden eyes back on Violet. "Don't make haste to judge and say regretful words, I do not forget easily Violet, I did what needed to be done for your own good, I love you more than life itself, but you seem not to understand my feelings for you."

"If  this is how you love, than I don't want it! Do you remember the poisonous words you threw at me in the cave, I'm going to make you regret you ever said them!" Violet hissed, "I hate you with all my heart, and if you ever come near me again, I shall kill you!"

Violet spoke out of anger, she loved the Fay with all her heart and soul, but she was drowning in anger by his chosen words that he served her with in the cave and she swore to herself that she will make him pay for hurting her in such a way!

The King stiffened, her words were harsh and pierced right through his heart. No one had ever spoken to him in this way before. Did she really mean what she said or was she just angry at him?

"You look confused 'o mighty King of Fays' what's the matter has no one ever hated you before?" Violet sneered.

Kalans nostrils flared and the veins on his neck twitched as he clenched his jaw. Curling both his hands into fists at his sides to stop himself from throwing her over his lap and slapping her arse until it was red with pain, the Fay took a deep breath of inhalation to help him calm down a bit.

"You speak from anger, let's talk later in my chambers, I'm sure we can straightened this out when we are alone and calm. Our love is strong and powerful and can overcome this small milestone." The Fay said, one last attempt to save their relationship.

Violet's eyes were full of contempt. "Do you think Fay that I would ever take you back? I hate you with a passion and nothing you say or do will ever change that! Go find another women to throw in your cave and leave me the hell alone "

Kalan's face turned black with rage, closing his eyes, the Fay did everything
In his power to control himself. Not a single Druid dared to speak, they all knew that the King was a hairs breath  from exploding.

"I guess this time you blew it Fay." Alana smiled at him, "but you can try apologizing to me, and I might just forgive you out of pity."

The Fay threw a threatening glance at Alana, taking a step backwards, she wondered why Gabriel abandoned her as is she meant nothing to him.
