Michael

I frowned as I looked over at Luke.

He stood in the dressing room mirror, and kept making sure he looked okay.

"Luke, you look beautiful." I said, and he looked over at me, and lightly smiled. I could tell it was so fake though.

He was wearing black jeans, and a black shirt along with converse. I knew he didn't like it.

He walked over to me, and hugged me tightly. I rubbed his back, and kissed his forehead softly.

"Luke, Michael. We told you, that's only allowed on the bus." Someone said, and Luke stepped away from me, and looked down, walking away.

He's changed a lot. He's been told he doesn't look manly enough in his sweaters, and he's not allowed to wear his foundation and concealer that makes him feel pretty. He's been forced to work out since he doesn't have abs, and now I'm not allowed to hug him in public.

Luke always told himself he wouldn't drink, but it's become a regular thing for him now. He's always going out and getting drunk when he'd usually stay home and cuddle with me, or one of the guys if I wasn't there. He isn't happy.

He walked over to a couch, and sat down. I watched him carefully because I wanna know what he's thinking right now.

He wiped the corners of his eyes, and kept his gaze down.

"Calum can you get me a coke?" He asked as cal passed. "Sure man." He said, and tossed Luke one.

I saw Luke open it, and pull something out of his back pack beside him, dumping it into the drink. His bag fell over, and I saw two packs of cigarettes fall out. He's changed so much.

"Luke.." I whispered, and he looked up. "When did you start smoking?" I asked and sat beside him o no one else heard as he zipped his bag back up.

"A few months ago. Don't worry about it.." He said, and took a big sip of his drink.

We were just about to go on a year long break from touring, so hopefully, I'll help get Luke back to his normal self, but right now, he needs me.

I moved the drink away from him, and took his hand.

"This isn't like you." I whispered, and pulled him over to me. He sat down on my lap, and cuddled into my neck.

"I'm just stressed." He whispered, and I rubbed his arm. "I know, baby, but it's almost over. I don't want you to keep ruining yourself like this." I said, and he closed his eyes. "Don't let me go." He said so quietly I almost couldn't hear.

"Michael, Luke. What have we told you?! Only on the bus are you allowed to-"

"Fuck off, man. It's not a big deal." I groaned, holding onto Luke tighter. I ran a hand through his hair and kissed his forehead.

"I promise I'm never gonna let you go."
