Thank you so much nooryousaf for this idea

"Look I'm sorry-"

"No you're not.." Luke muttered, interrupting Michael. He ran his hand over his forehead and sighed. "...you know. I understand that we haven't been on the best of terms, but did you really have to cheat on me?" Luke whispered, looking up at Michael, keeping a strong look on his face even though he wanted to cry so bad.

"I just- I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry.." Michael said softly.

"Me too.." Luke whispered, picking his phone up off of the table.

He let himself out of Michael's house, and once the door was shut, tears fell as fast as they possibly could.

He gave Michael everything. He told him he loved him every day, always made plans to see him, cared for him more than he cared for himself, but Michael wanted someone else.

-

Luke stepped into his house, and walked to the dining room where his family was having dinner.

"Luke? What are you doing back?" Liz asked, so they all looked over at him. He was supposed to be going on a date with Michael.

"Um. Me and Michael broke up." Luke whispered, and Jack scoffed, so Luke looked over at him.

"What?" Luke asked, crossing his arms.

"How did you not see it coming? You were like... the worst boyfriend to him." Ben laughed, and his whole family nodded in agreement.

Luke's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as they all looked at him again.

"That's not true." Luke whispered.

"Luke, when he came over you wouldn't even talk to him. You always left him by himself and acted like he didn't even exist." Liz said, obviously taking Michael side.

"Okay, one time, and because it was a dinner party full of relatives. I wanted to see people. I wasn't gonna make out with him in front of everyone!" Luke said.

"Listen, I just think it's better for Michael if you guys stay separated. Michael deserves someone who's actually gonna appreciate him." Andrew said, and Luke shook his head, starting to walk back towards the door.

They don't know a damn thing.

"Luke! Where are you going?!" Liz yelled.

"Anywhere but here." Luke said back, slamming the door on his way.

He didn't even get a mile down the road before he had to pull over. His vision was so cloudy, and he just needed some fresh air.

Luke stepped out of his car, and walked to the park the was across the street.

He slowly sat down on the swing, and sighed.

He remembers sitting in the exact spot with Michael. Luke laughed as Michael pushed him. Michael thought it would be a good idea to try and catch Luke as he jumped off, which resulted in them both falling to the ground, but they were happy.

Luke misses that already.

Luke heard the sound of footsteps, so he tensed up a little, but shook it off. It was probably nothing anyway.

Luke stood up from the swing, and started to walk back to his car, realizing it's probably not a good idea to be outside alone right now.

"Hey! Can you help me?" He heard someone yell, so he jumped, but turned around, seeing a guy, running towards him.
