Michael finally closed his eyes, ready to go to bed. He wasn't very cuddly when he was trying to fall asleep so he usually just ended up with his back to Luke.
"Why don't you ever hold me? You don't have to, I'm just wondering. Ashton holds Calum every night." Luke said, still full of energy.
"I dont know Luke." Michael mumbled, keeping his eyes closed.
"I feel like it would be nice to fall asleep with someone holding you." Luke said, scooting closer to Michael.
He thought he was making what he wanted obvious enough but Michael didn't respond.
"Nobody has ever held me when I fell asleep before. I bet it would feel safe and cozy and-"
"Okay Luke.." Michael groaned, obviously wanting Luke to shut up.
"What? I just wanna talk.." Luke said, and Michael sighed loudly.
He turned around and laid with his back to Michaels.
"Calum says he loves it when Ashton holds him. He says it makes him feel loved and c-"
"Please can I just go to bed?" Michael asked, cutting Luke off.
"I'm sorry.." Luke whispered, and kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to make Michael mad so he just gave it up.
"Goodnight. I love you." He whispered, and quickly kissed the back of Michaels shoulder.
He turned and laid down, finally closing his eyes.
He felt Michael moving but just figured he was going to get up to go to the bathroom or something.
He quietly gasped when he felt arms wrapping around him.
He turned around in Michaels arms and smiled. "Michael, you really don't have to if you don't wa-"
"Luke, be quiet. I was being selfish when I told you to stop." Michael whispered, kissing Luke's forehead. "If you want me to hold you until you fall asleep, that's what im gonna do because you deserve it, and I love you."
Luke smiled, kissing Michaels lips quickly.
"Go to sleep, baby." Michael told him, and Luke nodded, snuggling into Michaels chest.
Michael closed his eyes again, keeping Luke pressed against him.
"This is even better that what Calum said."
