Luke smiled as Michael walked into the door. He immediately got up and ran over to him.

Luke hugged Michael as tight as he could, his face falling as Michael pushed out of his grip.

"I missed you." Luke said, and walked behind Michael into the kitchen, setting Michaels dinner plate down for him.

He sat beside Michael at the table and they both began eating.

"I saw this really cute pair of socks at the store today. They had little cats all over them and I was going to buy them but I thought I would look like an idiot in them. I can't pull them off." Luke laughed.

"You would look like an idiot." Michael muttered and Luke sighed, rolling his eyes.

"It's gonna be one of those nights, huh?" Luke asked.

"What?" Michael asked and Luke looked down at the table.

"When you didn't have a good day at work you're always mean to me when you get home." Luke whispered.

"Yeah. Blame it on work. Maybe you deserve it." He said and Luke sat his fork down, not feeling hungry anymore.

"Don't say stuff like that. You always get mad at yourself later on." Luke said softly, and Michael rolled his eyes.

"Don't tell me what to do, bitch." Michael spat and Luke's eyes widened.

Michael has been rude to Luke but he has never called him something like that.

"I think I'm just gonna go upst-"

"You're gonna go upstairs and cry like you do every single time because you're too weak to say anything back." Michael laughed, and Luke's eyes started stinging.

"Michael stop it.." Luke whimpered.

"Cry me a river, Luke." Michael said sarcastically.

Luke ran over and held Michael tightly, his head in the older boys chest.

"Michael, I know you don't mean what you say, but it really hurts when you say stuff like that and- I know you love me, but you can't talk to me like this." Luke said, and looked up, holding onto Michaels waist.

"Get off of me." Michael said and pushed Luke backwards. "All you do is cry. I'm sick of it."

Luke watched as Michael walked over to the door.

"Michael don't go.." Luke cried. "...don't leave this time. I know you're mad, but I just need you to stay here. It's not my fault that you had a bad day at work. Michael im scared and I just want you to stay here." Luke cried, and felt his wrists itch.

He stopped cutting two months ago. Michael made him happy but now he can't help but want to hurt himself.

"Grow up, Luke. My niece cries less than you do, and she's a 1 year old." Michael laughed, and grabbed his keys.

When Michael slammed the door shut, Luke ran upstairs to their bathroom.

He snapped.

Michael listened to the heart monitor beep slowly as his head laid beside Luke's body.

"I'm the biggest idiot in the world.." Michael whispered to himself. He knew this was his fault. He left Luke hurting and alone.

He reached up and held onto Luke's cold hand, and looked at the bandages over Luke's wrists.

He never knew that Luke was so depressed. All of the times he's been mean to Luke built up until the sensitive boy couldn't take anymore.

He quickly sat up when he noticed Luke had his eyes open.

"Am I really here?" Luke asked, his voice hoarse.

"Yeah you're here, Luke.." Michael whispered, frowning when he saw the disappointed expression on his boyfriends face.

"I wanted to die." Luke whispered, looking forward at the white wall.

"Why?" Michael asked.

"You'd be happier without me. You're always mad and I know it's part of my fault. I'm always getting sensitive and I know it's frustrating." Luke said softly.

"Listen to me.." Michael said, and Luke looked over.

"...I can't live without you Luke. I need you more than you need me. I'm getting help for my anger issues. They almost killed you."

He watched as Luke's lip trembled, tears immediately falling from his eyes.

"I thought you left me. For real this time." Luke cried, and Michael stood up and leaned over Luke's bed, holding the heartbroken boys head to his chest.

"No. I could never leave you." Michael whispered, holding onto the back of Luke's head.

"You love me.." Luke cried and Michael held him tighter.

"Of course I love you. Even when I'm mad." He said softly, and Luke held onto Michaels shirt.

"Listen, Luke. I'm going to help you with this okay? I don't ever want to hear you say you want to die. You can't die, okay? I kinda need you here. I depend on you, you know?" Michael said, and Luke lightly smiled.

"We're gone get through this."

"Together."
