Luke sighed as he bent down to his four year old daughter.
"Baby, daddy is here to see you, okay? I know he's been gone for a long time, but he loves and misses you very much. Do you wanna see him?" Luke asked, and she nodded, chewing on her finger.
Luke exhaled and ran a hand through her hair, pushing her bangs back. "I'll go get him. Stay here, Logan."
Luke got up and walked out of the door meeting Michael on the porch.
"Is she-"
"Michael stop." Luke said, crossing his arms.
Michael closed his mouth and waited patiently. He was dying to see his daughter.
Michael was in rehab for 12 weeks. He was an alcoholic and he smoked too much. Luke didn't want Michael around their daughter when he was acting like that. It wasn't safe, and she deserved better.
"No four year old should have to decide if she wants to see her dad or not. Especially after he's been gone for 3 months. She had no idea where you went. Logan means everything to me, Michael, and I'd do anything to make her happy. You have to decide right now if you want to be in her life. If you say yes, you will always be there for her. If I even see you near a bottle of alcohol, you're done. She deserves the world, don't be a dead beat dad. Give her what she deserves.." Luke warned.
He loved his daughter more than anything and he wants everything to go back to the way it was. When they adopted her, Michael was the best he could be, but along the road he made too many bad choices.
"Luke, I need to see her." Michael begged.
Luke turned around and hesitantly let him in the house.
Michael quickly walked in, and smiled as the little girl ran to him. He kneeled down, and held her so tightly as tears fell from his eyes.
"I miss you." The little girl cried, and Michael only held her tighter.
"I miss you too." He whispered, holding the back of her head. "I promise, I'm never going anywhere again. I'm staying." Michael told her, and she smiled, kissing his forehead.
He picked her up, and walked over, including Luke in their hug. The younger boy gave in, holding them both. He wanted to stay mad with Michael but he can't. He loves him.
"I'm sorry for everything I've done to hurt you both. I've done wrong, but I'm making it right. And I want to start by asking you if we can renew our vows. I love you, Luke and I want us to be stronger than ever before." Michael said, and Luke nodded, laying his head on Michaels shoulder.

Michael smiled as he looked at Luke. He looks absolutely beautiful.
They had a small ceremony with only family and close friends. They wanted people to witness this moment. Michael wants to show how he's changed.
"Luke, I can't even begin to tell you how much I love you. You are so unbelievably strong, and courageous. You have given your all to keep this family together and I could never ask for anything more. You've gone so long without me there for you, and for Logan, but I can promise you that will not continue. I promise to protect you, to hold you, to love you with everything I have. I promise I will never put you in harms way, and even when I let you down, because I know I will, I promise I'll be there to pick you back up. Through everything, I'm gonna be there for you." Michael told him.
Luke wiped a tear away ask Michael turned to Logan.
"I have some promises to make to you, also, if that's okay.." Michael said, kneeling down.
He smiled at the little girl, and pushed her hair behind her ears.
"I love you, babygirl. I always have, and I always will. You mean the absolute world to me, and that's why I want you to know that I'm always going to be here. I promise you'll never have to wonder where I'm at, or why I haven't come home. I will be the best dad I can be, and I will make sure you know how much I love you every single day. I promise to hold your hand, and walk you to school every day. I promise to tuck you in and kiss you goodnight. I will protect you, and honor you, encourage you. I will support you in every decision you make, and I promise I'll always make daddy happy and I will love him just as much as I love you. I will always be there to lift you higher, and to not bring you down. I love you."
Everyone was left in tears as the little girl held onto Michael so tightly, refusing to let go, even as Michael stood up to kiss Luke.
He had his family back.
