Luke frowned when he peeked into the living room.

Michael was sitting on the edge of the couch, crying with his head in his hands.

He had just gotten into a fight with his mom over the phone and they both said some stuff they really didn't mean.

Luke looked down, at his pink socks, deciding wether he should say something or not.

Luke walked over to where Michael was sitting and pulled over a blanket.

He wrapped it around Michaels body, because being rolled into a blanket burrito always made Luke feel better.

He didn't exactly know what to do next because Michael never cries. He never has to do this.

Michael didn't look up or say anything to Luke, he just kept crying.

Luke ran upstairs and grabbed the stuffed penguin that Michael bought him, quickly taking it back to the living room.

Luke laid it down in Michaels lap and kissed his head, hoping that would help a little.

"Luke, stop it." Michael mumbled, not really wanting to be bothered right now.

"I just want you to feel better." Luke said, pushing Michaels hair back.

"Well, leave me alone for a little bit." Michael whispered, and Luke laughed a little.

"No it's okay, I can he-"

"Luke I'm serious. Please go away." Michael said and Luke silently nodded before leaving the living room.

"I- I think I'm just gonna go on to bed." Luke said, and lightly smiled.

"Go ahead." Michael said sarcastically.

Luke turned and crossed his arms over his stomach as he walked away.

He completely failed. All he wanted to do was make Michael feel better but he can't.

Every time Luke is upset, all Michael has to do is hold his hand to make him feel better, but no matter what Luke tries when Michael is upset, it doesn't work at all.

Luke doesn't like going to bed without Michael so he just sat on the stairs, peeking through the rail to see back into the living room.

A few tears fell from his eyes as he saw Michael crying.

Luke wants him to be happy again but he just doesn't know how to help.

If Michael is sad, Luke is sad.

Every sob that escaped Michaels mouth hurt Luke more and more.

Luke put his head down and let his tears soak into the shirt of Michaels that he was wearing.

"Luke?" He heard, so he looked up, seeing Michael now standing by the stairs.

"Why are you crying?" Michael asked, kneeling down to Luke's level.

"You're sad.." Luke whispered, and Michaels face softened seeing Luke's bottom lip quivering.

He leaned forward and kissed Luke's cheek.

He's never met someone who has cared so much for him.

"I'll be okay. I promise." Michael whispered, and Luke lightly smiled at him, but it went away when he looked back at his knees that were covered by pink socks.

"I just wish I knew how to make you feel better again." Luke said softly, playing with the end of his shirt.

"You don't have to do anything. You make me happy all of the time. All I have to do is look at you and I feel better." Michael said, and Luke smiled, wiping his eyes.

"I love you, Luke." Michael told him as he helped Luke to stand up.

"I love you too, Mikey."
