"U-Um.. turn here." Luke said, and Michael put in his turn signal.

"No! Wait! The next one!" Luke said, trying to read the map.

"Okay, seriously Luke, just get a grip. Everybody's waiting on us." Michael said, and Luke nodded, trailing his finger along the road on the paper.

Luke was meeting Michaels family for the first time this Christmas. He's already met Karen but nobody else and he was so nervous.

"Okay, now turn." Luke said, and Michael did what Luke said.

"I- I'm sorry. It was the next one.." Luke whispered. "But it's okay, we can go this way I think."

Michael sighed, and Luke grabbed his free hand, holding it tightly.

After ten minutes of driving, Luke had lost his place. They were in the mountains so his phone wouldn't find a map.

"Were lost.." Luke laughed.

"Are you kidding?" Michael asked, and Luke looked over.

"It's not a big deal. We can stop at a gas station and ask for directions." Luke said.

"Yeah, okay, I would've stopped at a gas station about twenty minutes ago when my gas light came on, but too bad we're in the middle of nowhere. Luke, there are no gas stations!" Michael groaned.

"I'm sorry." Luke said softly. "But we're gonna be okay. There's no reason in stressing over it. It'll only make it worse." Luke said, and Michael scoffed.

"Luke, I can't see how this could get any worse." Michael said.

As soon as Michael said that, the car slowed down, completely out of gas.

"This can get worse." Michael whispered, pulling off to the side of the road, and the car turned off.

"I'm sorry, Michael." Luke whispered.

"You should be. We're stranded out here. I told you we should've just got on a plane, but you're scared of planes just like you're scared of everything else. I hope this drive was worth it, because it ruined Christmas." Michael spat, and Luke quickly stepped out of the car, not wanting Michael to see him cry.

He sat on the back of the car, letting his tears fall onto his legs. He didn't mean to mess everything up.

"Luke-" Michael asked.

"Please leave me alone.." Luke cried.

"I'm s-"

"Don't apologize for anything, Michael. You're right. I've tried so hard to make everything perfect but I messed everything up." Luke said, wiping his eyes.

"You did not mess everything up, Luke." Michael told him, rubbing his arm.

"Yeah I did. Michael, were in the middle of nowhere, with no gas in the car and it's all my fault. We're gonna be really late and your family is gonna hate me, but I guess I deserve it. I'm so stupid." He cried, and Michaels heart broke at the sight of Luke.

"Baby, come here." Michael whispered, and picked Luke up. He laid them in the back seat of his car, holding Luke against his chest.

"I did not mean it when I sad you ruined Christmas. I didn't mean it at all. You have brought me so much happiness, nothing you could do could ruin this day. So what it didn't go perfectly? Just being able to spend it with you, even in these circumstances, makes this the best Christmas ever. And we both know we're never going to forget it." Michael laughed, causing Luke to laugh a little bit.

"I love you, Luke." Michael said, kissing the top of Luke's head.

"I love you too." Luke whispered, snuggling into Michaels chest.

"Now, let's hope we have some service so we can find our way out of here.." Michael said, pulling out his phone. Even if there was no service, he didn't mind being lost with Luke.
