Luke smiled, a relieved expression written across his face as he saw Michael come through the door.

"Dad!" The three kids yelled, jumping up, and running to Michael.

Luke walked over once Michael was done hugging the kids, and gave him a kiss.

"Are you okay?" Michael asked once the kids ran back to whatever they were playing with.

Luke nodded, laying on Michael's shoulder. The bags and dark circles under his eyes, along with his messy hair told Michael that he needed a break. He was left at home for two weeks while Michael went on a business trip.

"Go lay down, baby." Michael told him, rubbing his back, and kissing his head.

"No. I miss you. I just want you to hold me like this."

"Hey, let me put the kids to bed, and I promise you, I will hold you all you want." Michael said, and Luke shook his head.

"Don't let me go. Not even for a second." Luke whispered, and Michael pouted, feeling bad for Luke. He was so stressed out. He almost wishes he would've stayed home, but he really had no choice.

"Listen, go take a shower, get into bed, and I will be up there. You need to sleep. I'll hold you all night if you want." Michael promised, and Luke nodded, kissing Michael's shoulder before walking up the stairs to take a shower.

Michael smiled when he saw Luke walking out of the bathroom in one of his shirts.

"Michael I'm exhausted.." Luke whispered, so Michael walked over and picked him up, letting Luke wrap his legs around his waist, his head falling on Michaels shoulder.

He carried Luke to their room and laid him down on the bed, surprised when he saw tears falling from Luke's eyes.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Michael asked, taking off his jeans, changing into sweatpants.

"I- I haven't slept in two days and I'm really happy you're home and I don't know." Luke cried, and Michael smiled, but he didn't let Luke see. The younger boy always got like this when he was really tired.

He quickly crawled into bed beside Luke, pulling him into his chest. He ran a hand through Luke's hair, the other one wrapping tightly around the blonde boys waist.

"Luke, I love you a lot. I don't know how you do it. If I had to stay home for two weeks with the kids I would've lost it, but you're so strong. I'm so proud of you and I appreciate you more than you can imagine."  Michael told him, kissing the top of his head.

Luke snuggled closer to him, smiling as he let Michaels shirt dry up his pointless tears.

"I love you. I'm just glad you're finally home."
