Luke shook as he saw the lights flicker again.
The concrete floor and walls were wet and cold but it's all he had to sleep on. He was kind of on his own.
Ever since zombies started roaming the area, he's had to stay in a bunker with 13 other guys. Michaels here, but he doesn't really like Luke that much.
Ashton and Calum got to leave the area safely, but Luke and Michael got left behind. They were told the zombie population would be out in a few days, and he's still waiting for someone to come get them so they can just go home. Until then, he just has to be brave.
"Michael.." Luke whimpered, scooting over to where Michael was sitting.
"What?" He asked, and looked down at Luke.
"I'm scared, and cold." Luke whispered, trying to lift Michaels arm so he could tuck himself under it.
"Just go away. You're so annoying." Michael whispered, pulling his arm away.
"Michael, I'm scared." Luke said, his lip trembling as he held onto the stuffed penguin ashton gave him.
"Come over here. We'll keep you safe, princess." Luke heard, and turned around to see a boy who looked only a little bit older than him. He had a few friends beside him.
"Please hold me." Luke whispered to Michael who just closed his eyes and crossed his arms.
Luke felt a tear fall from his eye as he scooted over to the group of guys.
He was pulled onto someone's lap, held like a baby, and honestly he loved it. He loved being held and it made him feel more safe.

Michael opened his eyes when he heard a whine.
"Be quiet, sweetheart." He heard, so he turned and saw one guy with his hand down Luke's pants while two other guys held him in place. The fourth guy was going through Luke's stuff, taking anything of value.
Michael stood up, and walked over, standing above them.
"Let him go, now. Get your hands off of him." Michael said, crossing his arms.
"He'll no." He laughed, touching Luke in ways he didn't want or ask for.
"I said, let him go." Michael said, pulling the pistol he was given out of his back pocket.
They pushed Luke away, and Michael watched them, glaring as Luke quickly ran to the other side of the room.
Michael picked up Luke's bag, and walked over to where he was sitting.
He was facing the wall, sitting in the dim corner.
"Luke come here." Michael whispered, seeing everyone else asleep except for the guys he just threatened.
"No." Luke whispered, shaking his head.
"Fine. Where's your blanket?" Michael asked.
"They tore it up." Luke whimpered.
He walked over and picked up Luke, walking him over to where his blankets were.
"You need to get to sleep.." Michael said, removing the bullets from his pistol, putting them in a locked box.
"Hold me. I know I'm clingy and annoying but I'm really scared and I need you." Luke whispered as Michael laid down.
"Come here," he whispered, allowing Luke to lay on his chest.
He pulled the blankets over the both of them, holding Luke tightly. He was so fragile.
"You're gonna be okay, got it?" Michael said, and Luke nodded softly, holding onto the fabric of Michaels shirt.
He's been here for a week, and this is the only time he has felt at home because it doesn't matter where he's at as long as he has Michael with him.
