Luke came home with tear stains on his cheeks, and rain weighing down his fluffy white skirt.
He dropped his bag and felt tears falling from his eyes once again.
"Hey b- Luke, what's wrong?" Michael asked, and Luke just dropped his head, crying into his hands.
"I- I lost my job. They just didn't need me anymore." Luke cried, and Michael held him closely. Luke worked at the record shop and he absolutely loved it.
"Baby, it'll be okay. Why are you crying?" Michael asked, running a hand through Luke's hair.
"I don't know..." Luke whispered, laying his forehead on Michael's shoulder.
Michael picked Luke up, and carried him down the hallway to their shared room.
He sat Luke on the bed and smiled at how pretty he looked in his adorable outfit. Luke was too cute.
Michael heard Luke sniffle, and was ripped from his thoughts. He quickly kneeled down in front of Luke and wiped his tears away.
"Baby, it'll all be okay. We're gonna be just fine." Michael told him.
"I just- I want to be able to buy you all of the things you want and take you places. You do so much for me, and I just want you to be so happy and have everything you've ever wanted." Luke cried, and Michael hugged Luke tightly.
Every hour Luke worked, he did it for Michael.
"Baby, you're all I want. I already have everything I need." Michael told him, and Luke looked up through his damp eyelashes.
"You mean it?" He mumbled softly.
"Of course I do." Michael told him, kissing his lips for a few seconds.
Luke lightly smiled, but looked back down at his knees.
"Luke, forget the money. Look where I'm at. I'm happy. I've never been happier. I have everything I want. I'm living in a castle, and I have my princess sitting right here. What more could anyone ask for?" Michael said, and Luke laughed when Michael called their one story house a castle.
"I'm your princess?" Luke asked.
"Of course you are." Michael told him, running his hand over the lacy skirt.
"You're always gonna be my princess even if we never make another dollar." Michael told him, and Luke smiled, holding onto Michael.
"I love you. We're gonna be fine." Michael whispered, running his hand through Luke's hair again.
"I love you too..."
