Luke lightly smiled as one of Michaels best friends hugged him. It was one of Michaels friends back from school, and Luke didn't really know him that well. He was gonna be staying with them for a few days.
"I missed you so much." Michael mumbled into the guys hair, holding him close.
"I missed you too, Mikey." The short boy said, resting his chin on Michaels chest.
Michael kissed the boys forehead and Luke played with his hands.
"Shit-" the boy said, and looked out of the window realizing one of his bags was missing.
"My shirts are now going to be in that taxi forever." The boy, named Jessie, said.
"Don't worry about it. My shirts are too big, but I'm sure Luke wouldnt mind letting you borrow some. They'll still be too big, but it'll be okay." Michael said, and ran his hand through Jessie's hair.
Luke knows he didn't mean to be mean, but it still hurt Luke's feelings that he said that.
"Yeah, that's cool." Luke said, when they looked at him.
"Thank you so much," Jessie said, looking back at Michael.
"He's so sweet, you did good." Jessie said, and even though Jessie was very nice, Luke thought it was weird that they were still in each others embrace, holding each other as they talked, as if it were no big deal.
"Are you still playing baseball?" Michael asked him.
"Of course I am. The only thing I eat is Oreos, and if I didn't play baseball, I would not have this body." Jessie laughed, and Michael smiled.
"Well, you look great." Michael said, and Luke frowned.
"You two catch up, I'm just gonna go up to our room." Luke said, and felt his eyes fill up with tears. He didn't want to feel intimidated and jealous because of Jessie, but he did.
He ran up the stairs, and laid down on their bed, holding a pillow to his chest. He let silent tears fall from his eyes.
"Hey Luke? Is everything okay?" He heard Jessie's voice ask.
Luke nodded. "I just don't feel good." Luke said softly.
"Alright. I'll go get Michael. We can talk later, I just want him to make sure you're okay." Jessie said, and Luke nodded.
A few minutes later, Michael came into the room and shut the door. "Luke? What's wrong?" Michael asked, laying beside Luke.
He looked over, and wiped a tear that fell from Luke's eye.
"Nothing's wrong. I'm just being stupid." Luke said, and shook his head.
"No, whatever is making you upset, you need to tell me."
Luke moved the pillow from between them and scooted closer to Michael.
"I'm not upset that Jessie is here, but I'm upset because of what he does. When he hugs you, he gets to put his head on your chest, and you have no idea how much I want to be able to do that. And when you kissed his forehead I wanted to scream because I've always wanted you to kiss my forehead but I'm too damn tall. And I know you didn't mean to hurt my feelings when you said my shirts would be too big for Jessie, but it did because he looks so perfect, and I hate it." Luke cried, and Michael held Luke against his chest, letting the blonde boy cry. "He's so little and you two look cute with each other and I'm so big and I'm taller than you and I can't even be the little spoon anymore and I know it's hard for you to hold me before I go to sleep but you do it anyway because you know I like it, but I know you don't want to and-"
"Luke shut up." Michael laughed. "Of course I want to hold you. I love how tall you are, and i did not mean to hurt your feelings when I said your shirts would be too big. You're just so much taller than him, which I love." Michael said, and kissed Luke's forehead several times.
"Now turn around. You will make a great little spoon." Michael said, and Luke smiled, turning around.
He giggled when he felt Michael bury his face into his back. "See? I love to hold you like this." Michael said, and kissed the back of Luke's neck.
"You are so beautiful."
