Michael smiled at Luke as he saw him talking on the phone. He was doing an over-the-phone interview and Michael just couldn't wait until it was over so he could hold Luke again.

"Broken Home? Yeah Michael wrote that one.." The brunette heard, so he looked over curiously. "...yeah, he had a pretty hard childhood. His dad left, and his mom had alcohol problems. His brother ran away and his sister ran away with her low life husband- but Michael's good now. He's very happy. He still has some issues with his depression, but I like to help him. He's wonderful." Luke said, and didn't really realize he was talking to a complete stranger until he heard their voice again saying they were running out of time.

Luke's eyes widened when he realized he just told a few of Michael's secrets to a stranger.

Once the call was over, Luke stood up quickly, and ran into the kitchen.

"Michael, I ju-"

"Leave me the hell alone, Luke." Michael mumbled.

"It was an accident." Luke whispered.

"Luke please just go right now." Michael said.

"No. Please talk to me.." Luke whispered, and Michael turned around with tears in his red eyes.

"What do you want me to say? 'Thanks for telling the whole world about my screwed up family and my depression. I really appreciate it'." Michael said sarcastically, and Luke nervously bit his lip.

"I didn't mean to.." Luke whispered.

"Luke, all of that stuff was so personal. I trusted you to keep that a secret." Michael said, leaving the kitchen quickly.

-

Luke walked into their room slowly. It was past 11 and he wanted to go to bed really bad.

"Mi-"

"Not now, Luke." Michael muttered.

"Please ju-"

"Not now!" Michael yelled, so Luke just silently removed his clothes, changing into one of Michael's big sweaters and a pair of long socks.

"Please don't be mad at me." Luke said softly, crawling on the bed beside Michael.

"How the hell am I supposed to not be mad when you literally broadcasted my personal life over the radio? I trusted you completely, Luke." Michael said louder.

"I didn't mean to."

"It doesn't matter if you meant to or not! It's been done! You didn't think Luke, and now I have to pay for it!" Michael yelled, and Luke's eyes filled up with tears.

He didn't want to make Michael so upset.

"I'm sorry." Luke whimpered.

"Sorry doesn't help it! The last thing I want is to be questioned about my dad and my family every interview we go to! Now that everyone knows, it's gonna happen! Thinking about my family hurts, and thanks to you I'm gonna have to all of the time!" Michael yelled, sitting up to face Luke.

"I can help you with it though. I've always been there for you when you've been upset over them-"

"Do you not think you've done enough? You can't help me, Luke, when you're the one who caused this mess. Stop trying to help me because it's not working!" Michael yelled, and Luke looked down as he nodded quickly.

He laid down with his back facing Michael. His tears soaked into the pillow, but he didn't dare let a sound leave his mouth. He had no right to cry. He caused this.

He laid there silently, the blankets underneath his body.

Michael turned off the lamp and turned his back towards Luke, not even saying goodnight.

Luke felt cold without Michael holding him. He's never spent one night without Michael kissing his forehead, rubbing his back up and down.

-

Luke never wanted to cause Michael any pain at all. That was the last thing he wanted but as he sat in the dark room at 3 a.m., scrolling through cruel jokes about Michael's family and depression on Twitter, he knew he made the biggest mistake.

He sobbed, wondering how people could say these awful things, and he cried even more knowing everything was his fault.

"Luke?" Michael asked in the dark room, hearing whimpers coming from him.

He couldn't go to sleep mad at Luke so he laid there and just listened to him cry, trying not to bother him, until he couldn't let Luke hurt anymore.

"Michael, I'm so sorry.." Luke whispered, and Michael turned on the lamp.

He crawled over to Luke and held his head against his chest, letting him cry it out.

"Look, it's gonna be hard, but I'll be okay." Michael whispered, pressing his forehead to Luke's.

"I just- he asked a-about you and when I start talking about you.. I can't stop be-because I love you so m-much, everything about you is so beautiful to me, and I g-got lost in what I was saying. I didn't want to hurt you." Luke cried, and placed his hands on both sides of Michael's face.

"I love you so much. We'll be okay." Michael whispered, pressing a kiss to Luke's lips while he wiped a few tears away.

Luke laid his head on Michael shoulder and held him tightly.

He never wanted this moment to end.
