Luke lightly smiled to himself as he watched Michael sit on the couch a few inches away from him.

"Hey Luke." Michael said, crossing his arms over his chest, and leaning back, watching the tv.

"Hi.." Luke whispered, biting his nail.

He wanted to scoot over and lay his head down on Michael's shoulder but he doesn't know if he should. He knows Michael isn't into all of the fluffy stuff that he likes.

"Hold my hand?" Luke asked, hoping he could at least get that.

"Not right now, babe." Michael said, and Luke nodded, staring back at the tv.

He knows he has to compromise with Michael. They don't want the same things sometimes, but sometimes Luke feels like he's just doing what Michael wants just so he won't be annoyed with him.

He wants to be held so bad. He wants Michael to hold him tightly, silencing the voices in Luke's head telling him the reason Michael doesn't want to be close to Luke is because he doesn't actually love him.

It was just one of those days where Luke didn't feel good enough. His mind kept telling him lies, and he just needs Michael.

"Hold me.." Luke whispered, crawling over to Michael, and sitting beside him.

"Luke, right now?" Michael asked, and Luke nodded, looking up at Michael.

"Maybe in a few minutes." He said, and watched as Luke's face dropped. The brightness in Luke's eyes left once again, and he scooted away from Michael, holding a throw pillow to his chest.

Michael sighed, and looked over at Luke.

Michael likes his personal space sometimes, but Luke is just so precious and always needs to feel safe. Michael didn't like how lonely Luke looked right now.

He pulled Luke by him waist, and sat him on his lap. Luke smiled, and tucked his head in Michael's neck as Michael held him so tightly.

"Thank you, Michael. I really needed this." Luke said softly, and Michael ran a hand up and down Luke's back.

"I'd do anything for you. I love you."
