The fourth part of the How you meet series. This was kinda hard to write because I was flying on a plane. I have a major fear of highs so... at some point I'll do a question and answer, but maybe when I get more reads. There are no major warnings that I know of. Thanks for reading.

The snow fell hard blocking any chance you had to watch t.v. It was terribly cold outside and you were huddled up in blankets. Stupid freak snowstorm. It was fall, but the snow made it look like winter. You had heard about freak thunderstorms in New York City, but never believed it would affect everything else. It's probably just some effect of Global Warming.
It was about nine o'clock at night when you heard something hit the door. You at first thought it was the wind, but the noise was made again. You looked out the window half expecting to find a bobcat or mountain lion, not a human. He had pale skin with a tint of blue on it. Oh no, he has hypothermia. Hypothermia suck, especially from personal experience. It had to be cured early or else it could hurt your lungs and cause very bad sicknesses.
You quickly opened the door and saw the black haired man barely standing up. He had a gold leather jacket and green t-shirt on. His dark black jeans were littered with snowflakes. You usher him in and grab the blankets you were previously using. He laid down on the couch and huddled up in the blankets.
You went to the fridge and grabbed put the soup you made yesterday. You used some of your powers to infuse healing and warmth into it. You were a demigod, daughter of Apollo. Sure it was pretty awesome to have his powers, but it wasn't like Percy Jackson. There wasn't a camp, and people like you were pretty rare. There wasn't monsters, giants, or Titans. There were gods but they never got involved in people's lives, it was better that way.
You brought him the soup and set it on the table. You began to work your powers as he slept, but something was off. A something just didn't feel right.

The Next Day
You woke up early determined to find out who this stranger was. When you walked downstairs, you saw that he was already up.
"Hello there," He said while looking at a pan.
"Hello," you say shocked to see that he was already up a and moving. Usually, it took one to two days for someone to heal
"Pancakes?" He asked. How did he know your favorite meal?
"Yeah...who are you?" You ask finally deciding that he was not a regular mortal.
"Have you watched the news lately?" He questions while handing you maple syrup and a plate full of pancakes.
"No, t.v.'s out because of this strange weather"
"Well then, I am Loki. I'm the God of Mischief and Trickery"
"Oh, that actually makes sense. So like, is your brother Thor?"
"How are you not scared, I'm a god?" He says raising an eyebrow.
"I'm a daughter of Apollo, I'm used to strange things."
"You're not mortal? Do you have powers? Can you like resurrect people?"
"One question at a time. So first off, I'm a demigod: half-mortal half-god. Second I have the powers to infuse things with healing properties. I can also warm things up with my hands. Third, no I can't. Some thousand years ago, one of my distant relatives tried to resurrect people. Zeus zapped him off the face of the Earth. Kinda don't want that to happen, so I haven't attempted it."
"Oh, still why are you helping me"
"To be honest, you have been living in the shadows all of your life. Everything you do is because Odin has never shown you love. He pitted you against Thor since you were young. You were deserted. I lived through that. Imagine having to live in the shadows of the sun. It sucks knowing that I'll never be able to live a life as a normal human err mortal."
He looked shocked at what you said. You had just said your life story. Loki was a version of you. He was the darkness, you were the light.
"Plus your actions here have been nothing but pleasant." You continue, "As long as you remain nice and pleasant, you will always be welcome in my household. The best thing you can do right now is to turn yourself in. Maybe then, Thor will notice you"
"You are truly amazing," He says gleaming "you will make an amazing queen"
You start laughing "Queen, I wish"
He looks at you with a sort of twinkle in his eye.
"Only Asgard deserves the best."
"How about we go see the Avengers and then we can talk about this 'Queen' thing," you say still laughing. Sure you lived a slightly different life from the rest, but that doesn't mean you don't deserve happiness. Maybe he could be the key to life as normal as you can get it.
