Just a short one with Loki. I love the whole frost giant idea. Happy Holidays

With the temperature steadily dropping, every once of your energy was being diverted into not get hypothermia. You rubbed your hands together, trying to kick-start some type of body heat. The snow fluttered down from the sky as it had for the last few hours. If you were dying, you probably would have enjoyed this place a lot more.
It had been a terribly stupid mistake to travel here. It wasn't that you were given the choice though. Even since Loki and Thor had established New Asgard on the coast of Norway, people had been looking for a way to get back at the god of mischief. You had originally thought that maybe the world had gotten over his mistakes, but apparently not.

"Girl," One of the creatures snarled at you. You looked up to see the familiar tint of redness in its eyes. Normally, that would have calmed you down. But since it wasn't your boyfriend speaking to you, the redness clashed against the dark blue hue of its skin.
It grabbed your hand with its monstrous nails and yanked you to the newly built fire. The crackles of the timber being burned only reminded you of how hopelessly lost you were. You stuck your hands out, trying to get the blood to return there. The fire's warmth slowly spread through your body, reminding you of the bone-crushing hugs you got from Thor when you saw him. It only added on to the sadness that you were feeling at the moment.
"Why doesn't she speak," Another creature growled. It stuck its pointed blue finger at you and tapped you on the cheek. It's cold wet finger poked you several more times as it tried to create a reaction from you. You snapped at the finger, but it was quick to remove it.
"Stop touching the Midgardian. That's not going to make it any happier," The first grunted, using a large stick to tend to the fire. A stray ember flew in the air and landed on the giant's arm. It hissed slightly, shaking the ember off, and threw a bunch of snow on its arm.
You had already thought about using the fire to harm your kidnappers, but it would only make them madder. You weren't about to try to make them kill you.
"Take the girl and toss her back in the cage," The first commanded. The second muttered something under its breath but yanked you off the ground and towards the makeshift cage made out of what looked like the bones of dinner. You shuddered but begrudgingly walked into the cage. You found a few stray pelts and huddled in them, praying that your boyfriend would find you before the creatures got hungry.

You woke up to find yourself being carried. You pushed away from the strange object and fell onto the snowy ground with a thump. You scrambled around on your knees, trying to get to your feet. You brushed over a large rock as you stood up, so you picked it up, arm yourself with something that probably couldn't do much to those giants.
"You know drottningin mín, you probably couldn't hurt me with that," A voice chuckled. You raised your glance to the man that was standing in front of you. His emerald eyes were laced with a boyish glace as his lips curled into a smile. You dropped the stone and ran to your boyfriend.
He picked you easily off the ground as you wrapped your legs around his waist. Placing innumerable kisses on his face, you mutter countless words of thanks to your lover. He laughed slightly while placing a pelt over your shoulders. He then picked you up bridal style like he had before you had scrambled out of his arms.
"How did you find me?" You asked, staring up at him. He looked down at you and then up at the sky. He didn't say anything, but his actions were enough to suffice for an answer.
It had been luck.
"I'm sorry," He whispered, as you rested your head against his shoulder. The constant thumping of his steps had lulled you to sleep. One that was calm and peace. Undisturbed by Loki's words.
When you finally arrived at the camp, Loki handed you off to the healers that surrounded him as soon as he stepped onto the campgrounds. He watched as they carried you over to the makeshift healing ground that was required on these types of expeditions.
"You know it's not your fault," Thor murmured placing a hand on Loki's shoulder, trying to relive the guilt that he was feeling. Loki felt Thor's hand leave his shoulder as the new king walked over to where his lover lay. Loki couldn't help but feel guilty for what had happened. It was his fault that she had been taken. It was because his grievances that she had been taken.

"Thor, where is he?" You asked, pushing off all the blankets. It had been two days since you had seen him and frankly, you missed his warmth more than anything. You swung your legs over the side of the bed and threw on the slippers that were on the carpet near your feet.
Thor tried to stop you from wandering from your bed, but once he saw the steely glance you gave him, he stepped out of the way. You threw on a spare coat and marched out into the harsh December wind.
"Check the furthest fire," Thor shouted as you disappeared from his sight amongst the busy Asgardian commonfolk. Thor sighed but returned to his job of checking the people's homes.
You wandered through the village that the Asgardians had assembled. It wasn't much. A couple hundred people at the most, but it was still incredibly homely. It looked similar to Asgard except it was modernized. You saw the red and orange light of the fires flicker against the wooden structures and hurried towards them. Even if you couldn't find Loki, a little time spent by the fire wouldn't hurt.
You raced through the fires until you saw the last one. And your kærasta. He was reading a book, most likely something from Shakespeare, and hurried to his side. He barely noticed you until you laid down next to him and rested your head on his lap. He sighed and placed the bookmark that you had given him in the book.
"What do you want y/n?" He murmurs, running his hands through your hair softly. You reached out and cupped his cheek. You felt him lean in your hand and it made you slightly happy that he still cared about you.
"I haven't seen you in two days," You whispered. He glanced down at the ground, trying to think of an accurate reason as to why he didn't come you see you. When he couldn't think of one, he just looked back at you.
"I'm sorry," He breathed barely loud enough for you to here. You just shook your head.
"Don't apologize for something you didn't do. You didn't force them to hurt me. You didn't tell people to hate you. Yes, you made mistakes. But you shouldn't be punished for something that you didn't in the past that you made up for. It wasn't even your fault," You said, taking his hands and placing them over your heart.
"My heart beats for you, ást. My blood is entangled with yours forever in the most intimate ways you can imagine. I don't mind being taken from you, just as long as I return to you. My pain is your pain and yours is mine. I love you, elskan, never forget that."
