I see the Assassins have failed Part 2

When the Avengers left your house, they were left with innumerable questions. They flew back to the Tower as quick as humanly possible trying to find the answers to their question.

"Thor, who's your great uncle?" Tony asked Bursting through the kitchen doors. Thor was sitting in the dining room chair eating a pop-tart. He raised an eyebrow and Stark and quickly swallowed his food.

"Excuse me?" He said.

"You heard me. Who's your dad's cousin?" Tony responded.

"Well... technically that would be Zeus. He's pretty nice. Loud, booming voice. Loves Thunder" He replied.

"Oh great. More gods to deal with" Tony grumbled, "Have you ever met your cousins, especially on that's super smart?"

"You must be thinking of Lady Athena. She's very smart and amazing at combat. She could probably take everyone who's not a god down in thirty seconds. Loki is fond of her. Why do you need to know this?" He recalled.

"She took Natasha down in thirty seconds, Steve. How do you suggest we beat her? We still need to find Lady Athens" Bucky groaned walking into the kitchen. 

"It's Lady Athena" Tony pointed out. Steve and Bucky's faces paled as they exchanged looks.

"No, it can't be," Steve mumbled.

"What's wrong with them?" Clint asked reaching for a glass of water.

Bucky ran his hands through his hair before quietly sighing. He looked like he was about to crumble into millions of pieces. Steve put a hand on his shoulder and began to explain.

"Before we enlisted in the army, we were friends with this girl. She warned us not to enlist or bad things will happen to us. She begged us not to do anything we might regret doing. We obviously didn't listen. The day before we left, she told us that she was immortal and we didn't believe her. We joked around calling her Lady Athena. She left us saying one more thing, when we meet her again everyone one we care about will be in mortal danger" 

"So basically you guys are on the bad side of an immortal being?" Tony remark.

"Basically" Steve relented.

"I'll go  talk to her." Thor suggested, "She'll talk to me" With that, he swung his hammer fast and took off into the day.

You were in your room trying to sort through the paperwork and organize it the best you could. You didn't notice when Thor opened your door, so when he tapped your shoulder you jumped in fear.

"Cousin Athena, it is so nice to see you again." He boomed.

"Thor" you yelled as equally loud. You hugged and he sat down next to you, "So did they find out who I am?"

"Yes, they were completely shocked." He laughed.

"Most Mortals are when they find out" you agreed with him, "So, not to undermine your visit, why are you here?"

"Steve and James. They told me of a prophecy that you told them a long time ago. James paled and seemed terrified. He said you promised them the death of their friends " He reveals

"You actually listened to him. He's making the story sound like some Greek Tradagy" you rolled your eyes at their stupidity, "They made light of my immortality so I promised them that. I never swore on the river Styx."

Thor narrowed his eyes at you, which made a pit formed in your stomach.

"Ok so maybe it was a bit out of line, but come on. That was like 5 millennia ago. I just wanted them to believe I wasn't kidding. I just took a page out of Loki's book. Too bad he died before he could see their reaction." You sighed

There were a sizzle and a pop from behind you. You turned and there was Loki lying face down on the oak floors of your apartment. He stands up and you notice he's in his armor, it sparkling in the afternoon light.

"Speak of the Devil and he shall appear" you murmured as you got up. He looked you over raising an eyebrow. You called upon your godly power and in a flash of bright light, you transformed into more comfortable style clothing. You were wearing a white toga which hung to your body like a second spear. A spartan helmet was on your head covering your now brown hair. A spear and shield appear on your dining room table and your owl, a great horned in case your wondering, hovered by your side.

Loki smiled brightly and you hugged each other tightly. You then pushed him away and slapped him across the face.

"That was for dying" you snarled, "All of Olympus mourned you."

He rubbed where you hit him and replied, "Did they now? Allow me to guess who missed me the most."

"Do not get cocky with me son of Laufey. You know as well as I do that everyone would have missed your antics" you responded. He held his hands up in submission, but he also smirked knowing he wasn't wrong.

"Athena..." Thor started.

"If you don't mind, please call me y/n. It makes me feel young again." You told him.

"Anyways, you need to..." Thor began again. Suddenly your phone began to ring. You looked at it, only to see it was Hermes.

"Hermes, cousin, why are you calling," you ask placing the phone on speaker so that everyone could.

"Emergency meeting. Now." He pants out of breath.

"What's wrong?" You ask.

"Asgard has declared war on Zeus. Come now" He says before hanging up. You summon your spear and point it between Thor and Loki.

"What is the meaning of this?" You yell, frustrated that these people might have betrayed you.

They looked at each other, shocked, and put their hands up.

"Cousin, you have to understand. We have no idea what's going on. We are as clueless as you are." Loki tried to explain. You pointed your spear at him and he stepped back only to find himself pressed against the wall.

"Why should I believe you, oh god of lies. Careful how you speak."  You screamed, "If I find you, either of you, guilty of treason against my family, I will have no mercy." Thor and Loki nodded slightly and you released your hold on Loki. You eyed them wearily before vanishing into a bright light.

Your owl, who did not leave with you, rubbed affectionately against Loki's arm. He patted its head gently to which it hooted. It hopped onto his shoulder and looked at Thor.

"We should warn the Avengers" Thor spoke.

"As long as they don't try to kill me" Loki agreed.
