Tord's POV
I tap the end of my cigar. The ash fall in the tray beneath my hand. The winter day outside was bright and glittering. Yet, it was dark inside the house. The only light in the place was the glare of my phone. I had to think over what I had said to Tom before he stormed out to get a drink. Edd had gone with him got a ride.
Matt, hating the cold atmosphere, left the house to buy more mirrors. Now it was just me and (Y/N). I hear the upstairs shower run and I blush instantly. Well, she did say she was taking a shower today. Another streak of smoke crossed from my lips. That's when I hear singing.
"All I know is there's something about ya'," her voice crept through the hall. I listen intently as she continues. I immediately recognise the song. It was Becky G's 'Shower'. It was huge back then, but I never really cought onto it.
"You light me up inside, like the Fourth of July," I sigh out. I climb the stairs, singing. This could be the perfect opportunity. The perfect moment to tell her I love her. So, I sang, knowing that my accent was only deepening my voice, making it more ensnaring.
"Whenever you're around, I always seem to smile,"
(Y/N)'s POV
I heard his voice coming from the stairwell. It was heavenly and thick, like honey. As I wrapped the towel around my body, I heard him sing more. His singing voice was that of an angel's. I wanted him to hold me and kiss me...
Wait, what?
"And people ask me how, well, you're the reason why I'm," he pauses a little longer than in the actual song. Tord climbs the last stair. He wanders over to the bathroom door. I hear him turn the knob, and he opens the door. I looked deep into his silver eyes as he blushes deeply and smiles.
"Dancing in the mirror, singing in the shower," he purrs. I giggle and sing the next part. He covers his eyes and keeps singing as I dress. It was kind of cute to see him like this. When he uncovered his eyes, he smiled at me and took my hands in his. Then we danced in the mirror.
"All I want, all I need is your loving," he sighs happily.
"Baby, you make me hot like an oven," I add.
"Since you came, you know what I discovered? Baby, I don't need me another,"
"No, no, all I know, is that you got me feeling so,"
"And you know that I've got to have ya', and I don't plan to let you go," he smirks as he pulls out a box. The song is quickly forgotten. Tord blushes and opens the box. It had an engagement ring. I look at it, my eyes wide. Where those (f/c) diamonds...?
"I know it's sudden. I highly doubt you'll even say yes. I just wanted to give it shot. Because, I am deeply in love with you, (Y/N). I have felt like this ever since you walked in that door on the first day. Ever since, I was only reminded of how much I love you, and I want to marry you. Please, what do you say?" he asks sheepishly.
I watch his expression. His eyes shone like stars. The caramel hair was smoothly combed from earlier. Tord's grin was wide and toothy, as his sharp teeth sparkled in the dim light of the bathroom. We walk downstairs for a better setting. As I sit down on the couch, he asks me again.
"Will you marry me, and make me the happiest man in the universe?"
