Dallas: It was 6:48 I was walking home
Stepped to the gate and I'm all alone
I had chicken on the plate but the food was cold
Then I covered up my face so that no one knows

Lynn: Yeah you did come home at 6:48 last night and your food was cold. You never told me why you were home late...

Dallas: I didn't want trouble
I'm the boy in the bubble
But then came trouble

Lynn: Trouble? What trouble?

Dallas: When my mum walked into the living room
She said boy you gotta tell me what they did to you
I said you don't wanna know the things that I had to do
She said son you gotta tell me why you're black and blue

Lynn: Oh...you aren't talking about us are you? Dallas I know your mom left but when was this?

Dallas: I said I didn't want trouble
I'm the boy in the bubble
But then came trouble

Lynn: What are you talking about Dally? This was years ago

Dallas: And my heart was pumping

Lynn: You alright Texas?

Dallas: Chest was sceaming

Lynn: I'm worried Dallas. What are you trying to tell me?

Dallas: Mind was running

Lynn: What's wrong?

Dallas: Air was freezing

Lynn: What do you mean? It's 80 degrees

Dallas: Put my hands up
Put my hands up
I told this kid I'm ready for a fight

Lynn: Kid?! Dallas you better not have hit a kid!

Dallas: Punch my face
Do it 'cause I like the pain

Lynn: What?! Come home right now Dallas!

Dallas: Every time you curse my name
I know you want the satisfaction
That's not going to happen

Lynn: What Dal I love you I don't know what you're talking about? What satisfaction?

Dallas: Knock me out
Kick me when I'm on the ground
It's only going to let you down
I'm the lightning and the thunder
You're the one that suffers

Lynn: What? I don't care what happens Dallas. I'll always love you and you know that.

Dallas: Well I squared him up with my chest exposed
He threw a quick left hook
And it broke my nose
I had thick red blood running down my clothes
And a sick sick look 'cause I like it though

Lynn: Dallas Tucker Winston! Where are you right now?!

Dallas: I said I didn't want trouble
I'm the boy in the bubble
But then came trouble

Lynn: Please Dallas. I'm worried about you

Dallas: And my heart was pumping

Lynn: Why? Why did yo upstart another fight? You know I don't want you hurt

Dallas: Chest was sceaming

Lynn: Are you alright?!

Dallas: Mind was running

Lynn: What's on your mind? Please tell me

Dallas: Nose was bleeding

Lynn: Dallas please come home I'm serious

Dallas: Put my hands up
Put my hands up
I told this kid I'm ready for a fight

Lynn: Please don't do it! I don't want you to get into a fight!

Dallas: Punch my face
Do it 'cause I like the pain

Lynn: No! Dallas please!

Dallas: Every time you curse my name
I know you want the satisfaction
That's not going to happen

Lynn: I would never curse your name Dally. I love you just please come home safe

Dallas: Knock me out
Kick me when I'm on the ground
It's only going to let you down
I'm the lightning and the thunder
You're the one that suffers

Lynn: What? I don't care if you get into fights I just don't want you to be hurt! Please come home

Dallas: It's 6:48 he's walking home
With the blood on his hand from my broken nose
But like every other day he was scared to go
Back to his house
Because his pop was home

Lynn: Dallas...

Dallas: Drowning his troubles in whiskey bubbles
Just looking for trouble

Lynn: Dally are you at Bucks?

Dallas: Well there's no excuse for the things he did
But there's a lot at home that he's dealing with
Because he's dad's been drunk since he was a kid
And I hope one day he'll say to him

Lynn: Say what? Who? Are you alright?

Dallas: Put down those bubbles
And that belt buckle
And this broken bubble

Lynn: Wait...you're talking about yourself aren't you?

Dallas: Punch my face
Do it 'cause I like the pain

Lynn: Answer me dammit! Dallas what the hell is wrong?!

Dallas: Every time you curse my name
I know you want the satisfaction
That's not going to happen

Lynn: Tell me now please! What's wrong?!

Dallas: Knock me out
Kick me when I'm on the ground
It's only going to let you down
I'm the lightning and the thunder
You're the one that suffers

Lynn: I don't suffer. I'm happy with you and everyday from now and on makes me happier and it still will keep me happy as long as I'm with you.

Dallas: Lynn...i'm talking about my past. I'm no good for you but I love you so so so much. I do a lot of dumb shit and you're the one who suffers everyday by being with me.

Lynn: No Dallas. Everyday makes me happier. Now where are you at?

Dallas: Bucks

Lynn ran out of the house and quickly drove to Bucks. She saw Dallas on the stool with a glass of beer next to him. She smiled and ran over to him hugging him. Both of them ended up on the floor with her on top of him.

"I love you Dallas" Lynn said kissing him and he smiled into the kiss and pulled away a little.

"I love you too Caitlyn" he said kissing her again.

Just something for myself 😂 well I hope you all enjoyed this and Stay Gold!
