I ran upstairs to Ashton's room and showed him and Luke the wallet. I took $70 out of it and said, "Yes! Now we just gotta give Calum's wallet back. While I'm doing that, you guys go send Calum's phone to the shop." They agreed, took the money, and left the house. I went back downstairs to the kitchen and saw Calum. He was almost done making lunch. "Hey, Calum? Is this your wallet? I found it on the ground and I thought it might've fell out of your pocket or something," I said to him. He looked at me and felt his back pockets. "Oh, I didn't even notice it was gone. Thank you, Nicole," he said to me as he took the wallet. Then he said, "Hey, you wouldn't have taken any money from here, would you?" I responded calmly, "No, not at all." Then I walked away into the living room. Awesome! This is gonna work perfectly. 5 minutes later, Calum and I are lunch without Luke and Ashton. Calum said it would be fine. Then 20 minutes after that, Luke and Ash walked through the door with frowns on their faces. I said to them, "What's wrong?" Luke responded to me, "Well, turns out we have to wait 2 days to get Calum's phone back." Ashton then added, "I don't know how we're gonna distract Calum in that time." I simply replied to them, "Easy. When Calum figures out he can't find his phone, we'll just say he must've lost it. 2 days later, get the phone back, hide it somewhere in the house, and say you found it." Luke and Ash looked at each other and then looked at me. "Wow, I'm impressed, Nicole. Good idea," said Ash. I shrugged and watched some TV. Ash and Luke came to watch with me. An hour later, Calum came into the living room and said, "Hey, have you guys seen my phone anywhere?" We all looked at Calum and Luke said, "No, where did you last have it?" Calum replied, "In my room." Then Ash said, "We haven't seen it. You must've lost it. Goodbye, iPhone." The last thing Calum said before going into the kitchen was, "Wow, thanks for the motivation, Ash. That'll help me a lot." I love Calum's sarcasm. It's just hilarious and always makes me laugh.
