Eventually school ended and I went home. Calum asked me, "Hey! How was school?" I responded to him, "Quite crazy actually."

Calum: Oh, well why don't you tell me about it?

Nicole: Well actually, I'd feel more comfortable talking to a girl.

Calum: Well you're in luck. Selena's upstairs in Luke's room. By the way, I have no idea what they're doing in there but the door is closed so be sure to knock if you don't wanna be traumatized for life.

Nicole: (shivers) Thanks for the warning.

Then I went upstairs to Luke's room. I saw the door was closed so I took a deep breath. Then I knocked on the door. You don't know how much I was hoping that Luke would open the door and be fully clothed. 3 seconds later, someone did answer the door. It was Selena. AND SHE WAS FULLY CLOTHED! OH THANK GOODNESS! She said to me, "Oh, hey, Nikki! You're back from school! How was it?" I responded, "Um, well I was wondering if I could talk to you about it. I need a girl to talk to. By the way, is Luke in there?" Selena said, "Yeah, I was helping him work on songs. But if it's that important, I can take a break. Hey, Luke? I'm just gonna take a minute to talk to Nicole, okay?" He responded, "Sure." Then Selena walked to my room and we closed the door. We sat on my bed and she said, "Talk to me."

Nicole: (Explains what happened)

Selena: WHOA. That's some crazy stuff. But can I ask you a question?

Nicole: Sure, what is it?

Selena: Why did you actually say yes to Eli when he asked you to go to the dance with him?

Nicole: Well I didn't want to embarrass him.

Selena: Are you sure you didn't actually like him?

Nicole: I don't know. I guess I did. I mean, it was kind of hard when I was fake breaking up with him.

Selena: It's okay. People feel that way sometimes. It's a natural thing.

Nicole: But I kind of feel guilty now that I said it.

Selena: No, don't be guilty. Everybody feels that way once in their lifetime.

Nicole: I know but he was so nice and I can't believe I actually like my best friend's boyfriend. Wait, Eli told me he didn't like Taylor anymore. Oh no. He's gonna break up with her!

Selena: Oh, that's not good.

Nicole: I don't know if I should tell her or not.

Selena: Well you know what I think you should do?

Nicole: What?

Selena: I think you should mention everything that happened to you and Eli to Taylor except don't include the part where you said yes to his offer. Just say that she should break up with him because he asked you to go to the dance with him and then she'll break up with him instead of him breaking up with her so she won't go through all the pain of a breakup.

Nicole: Great idea! I can do that!!

Selena: Awesome.

Nicole: Thanks a lot, Selena.

Selena: Hey, that's what friends are for.

Nicole: (hugs)

Selena: (hugs back)

Eventually Selena left and I thought about what she said. I think that idea will totally work. I can't wait for TOMORROW.

THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL

"So, listen, Taylor. There is something I have to tell you about," I said as we were sitting at a table in the cafeteria. I explained everything to her and she understood. She was gonna break up with him through text after school. I don't know why through text though. Oh well. There was also this new kid at school. I don't know who she is. I decided to talk to her. (Picture of her up above.)

Nicole: Hey, um, what's your name?

???: My name is Faith.

Nicole: Well, my name is Nicole. Would you like to hang out with my friends at my table?

Faith: Yeah, I'd love to.

Nicole: (brings Faith to table) Guys, meet Faith. Apparently she's new here.

Faith: (sits down)

Jessica: Hi there!

Emma: Yo. You look familiar.

Taylor: Hello.

Faith: Hi.

Jessica: So what grade are you in, Faith?

Faith: Grade 8.

Taylor: Well that's another grade 8 friend you have, Nicole. Like, seriously, where are your grade 7 friends?

Nicole: Uh, where is your respect, Taylor? (imitates Taylor) Like, seriously.

Taylor: (laughs) Sorry.

Nicole: Anyway, what school did you used to go to, Faith?

Faith: I used to go to Notre Dame.

Emma: That's where I know you from! I used to go to Notre Dame too!

Nicole: Oh my gosh, you did?

Faith: Oh, now I remember you! We just didn't talk much. I also remember you... Taylor, right?

Taylor: Yeah!

Faith: And where's Hannah?

Jessica: Well she should go die in a hole.

Faith: What?

Nicole: It's a long story.

Faith: And I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name.

Jessica: Oh, I'm Jessica, you can call me Jess, Jessie, or even Bob.

Faith: (laughs) Okay.

Nicole: Great! We have a new friend in the group! Yayyy!!

We all cheered and laughed and when school was over, I went home. "Hey, Nicole. How was school?" Asked Ashton in the kitchen.

Nicole: Amazing! I made a new friend!

Ash: Oh, really? What was her name?

Nicole: Faith.

Ash: Ahh, I remember having a girlfriend named Faith.

Nicole: Oh no.

Ash: Don't worry, it's not like I'm gonna ramble on about how it went and -- it was a windy day outside and I was taking a walk with my dog, Sofie.

Nicole: Here we go.

Ash: I had just gotten a text on my phone and it was from my friend who had told me to come to his house. I wanted to text back but you see, I have this problem where I can't text with one hand so I kind of let go of the leash.

Nicole: Wow, that was stupid.

Ash: I know, right? Well Sofie had started to run so I chased her all the way to the park where she had run over this girl.

Nicole: Let me guess. That girl was Faith?

Ash: You got it. Sofie knocked Faith down and ran over her and just ran off into the woods. I saw Faith and helped her up. I think you can guess what happened next.

Nicole: You guys made out on the bench and it got real heated and stuff?

Ash: Yeah, and -- Wait. No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! Of course not! No! You know what? I'm done with this story! (walks out)

Wow, that was odd.
