I said goodbye and ended the group chat. I went downstairs and just as my feet but the ground, I heard Ashton yell, "Hey!" from the kitchen. I saw Calum and Luke were talking to each other while on their phones in the living room and they were both standing up. They stopped talking and looked at each other when Ashton yelled. Calum sighed and yelled back to Ashton, "Ashton! What's up?!" Then there was a pause... "Who took the cookies?!?" Ashton yelled back. I widened my eyes. Both Luke and Calum looked at me and crossed their arms. I nervously chuckled and said, "Uh, oops?" They shook their heads at me. Then Ashton stomped into the living room with an angry face and his hands in fists. He looked at me and pointed. "YOU!" He said angrily. He stomped towards me and said, "How could you?" I responded guiltily, "Well, I-I-I was hungry and it-it-it was the only thing to eat." Then he said, "You know what? No. Don't talk to me." He was calmed now. He walked up to his room and closed his door.

Luke: Wow, you really upset him.

Nicole: Oh, please. He's overreacting. They're cookies!

Calum: His cookies.

Nicole: No way. Are you honestly on his side?

Calum: We're just saying that they were his cookies, Nicole.

Nicole: So what? They're cookies!

Luke: We know but he paid for them so he deserved them.

Nicole: That's so wrong.

Calum: Nicole, come on. Go and say sorry to Ashton.

Nicole: For the last time... THEY'RE COOKIES!!

Luke: Nicole, no yelling!

Nicole: You seriously think this is my fault!

Calum: Nicole, you really need to calm down.

Nicole: No, forget it!!!!!! I'M DONE!

I ran up to my room and slammed the door shut. You know, I would've thought they would be on my side, but obviously not. Or maybe at least Calum, but no, not even him. Like, really? They're just cookies. How many times do I have to say it? But you know what? I'm done now. I don't think I'll be talking to those doofus' in awhile. That's right. Silent treatment. I know awhile ago I promised them I would never give them the silent treatment again but you know what they say; Rules are made to be broken. That goes for promises too. I stayed in my room for a whole hour and it was already lunchtime when Luke called me down. I went downstairs and we all ate our food at the table. Ashton seemed to be fine but there's still me.

Ashton: You know, even though I'm still mad about the whole cookie thing, I've calmed down. So it's all alright, Nicole.

Nicole: (silence)

Calum: Nicole?

Nicole: (silence)

Luke: Oh no.

Ashton: Not again.

Calum: Don't tell us you're giving us the silent treatment.

Ashton: Well, of course she won't tell you. She's not talking.

Luke: Remember you promised you would never do that again?

Nicole: (silence)

Calum: Wow. This is terrible.

Luke: I mean, they're just cookies.

Nicole: (drops fork on table) Just cookies? Just cookies!?!? What do you think I have been trying to tell you?!?! You just haven't been listening, have you? You... never... listen! You know what? You could say that I'm overreacting about this stupid thing when I say this, but I WISH I HAD NEVER MET YOU! I WISH MY PARENTS HAVE NEVER LEFT ME AND YOU HAD NEVER OFFERED TO COME!

I ran out of the kitchen without finishing my food as I ran up to my room and closed the door again. They must be kidding. I said they were just cookies but no, they just didn't listen. Now they turn it around and make it seem like it's all my fault. God, I hate them. And those last words I said, yeah, I meant those. Every single bit of it. I sat on my bed just thinking. Why is my life so hard? Why have I gone through so much lately? I must be a total imbecile to be thinking I can actually live like this. But nobody really understands. I stayed in my room for 2 hours just doing everything I can. Drawing, texting, playing on my iPod. I even told Taylor, Emma and Jessica about what had happened but guess what they said. They're just cookies. Thats when I just said I had to go and left it alone. All of a sudden, I heard voices downstairs. Somebody else's voice. Somebody must be here. I didn't even care though. The guy was here and I didn't even bother to go downstairs and say hi. I did hear a bit I conversation going on though.

Guy: Hey, I heard there's a girl in the house. Where is she?

Calum: Uh, we kind of got into a bit of a fight and she's really mad at us. She's been up in her room for 2 hours and hasn't come out.

Guy: Oh. Well that's not good... Hey, you mind if I have a word with her?

Luke: As long as you can get her to forgive us.

Guy: I'll try my best. I'll just be -- (mumble mumble mumble)

I couldn't hear anything else. I still laid in my bed. I was curled up in a ball thinking. All of a sudden, I heard a knock on my door. He didn't say anything and neither did I. I wasn't in the mood to talk. Then I heard my door open. He said, "Hello there." But that voice was really familiar. It almost sounded like an artist I knew. Wait, I know now. It was Ed Sheeran.
