It was 7:01 and I went up to my room to text Jessica again. But just before I could, I got an anonymous text. It said, "School's 2morrow. Excited? 😝". I didn't know who it was from but they seemed nice. I replied back nicely.

Nicole: yah kind of. may I ask who this is?

???: u don't know? Im like ur best friend

Nicole: um I think i'd know whether this was my best friend or not. how did u get this #?

Nicole: WHAT THE HECK?! Why r u texting me?!

Carson: Well I thought u needed a visit

Nicole: I thought u were in jail. if I find out u left I swear Im calling the police
