Chapter 18

I started texting Jessica for no random reason and we started talking.

Nicole: Hey Jessie!

Jessica: No nicole. it's Jessica

Nicole: ha ha very funny. I hope the boys didn't make u 2 uncomfortable did they?

Jessica: no not at all. they were all actually pretty funny.

Nicole: yeah I guess they were. they said sorry 2 me 2day 4 being annoying

Jessica: cool

Nicole: so whatcha doing?

Jessica: I'm just drawing

Nicole: COOLIO I'm just in my room

Jessica: I am so bored right now. what should I do

Nicole: well I can tell u what not 2 do. come hang at my house

Jessica: true dat

Nicole: r u excited 4 school 2 start again?

Jessica: NOOO!

Nicole: why not?

Jessica: don't u know? I'm in high school now.

Nicole: oh yeah. we won't be seeing each other at school

Jessica: but don't worry Nicole. we can always go 2 each others houses and still text each other.

Nicole: I guess ur right

Jessica: good.

Nicole: Calum's calling me downstairs right now. wish me luck.

Jessica: why?

Nicole: I just had a fight with Calum

Jessica: oh then I shall wish u luck. good luck!

Nicole: thnx

Then I turned my iPod off and put it in my back pocket. I went downstairs and saw everyone in the living room and the one who was sitting was Calum. They all looked at me and Calum said, "Nicole, I'm sorry if I got you angry. I guess I have a habit of it."

Nicole: No, no, no. It wasn't your fault. It was mainly mine because I shouldn't have been that sensitive.

Calum: But I was too much into your life and I shouldn't have been.

Nicole: It's okay. I forgive you. Can you forgive me?

Calum: I sure can.

Then Calum stood up and opened his arms wide. I smiled and went over to him giving him a big, fat hug. I was happy again. After that, we decided to do something together like watch a movie or something. It was normally supposed to be time for lunch but we thought about it and we just decided we'll have popcorn for lunch. That made me even happier. We dimmed the lights and watched MONSTERS UNIVERSITY. Halfway through the movie, Ashton had 'accidentally' spilled the popcorn all over me. It was obviously on purpose though. We had paused the movie and cleaned it up. I even saw Luke sneak a popcorn into his mouth that was on the floor. Gross, but I still love him. You know, ever since those 3 guys have came over, I've seemed to have 3 more best friends. It's really making me happy. Anyway, enough with the mushy-gushy stuff and lets get down to business. When the movie ended, I decided to turn the lights back on and we all talked about the movie. I started with, "I didn't get it. Why hadn't Sully met Mike yet if this movie was made after Monster's Inc?"

Luke: Well this is a prequel.

Nicole: A what?

Calum: A prequel. It's a movie or story made after the first one they did, but it's about the past story.

Nicole: Oh. Well that explains a lot.

Ashton: The animation is so good!

Luke: Yeah, I noticed that! Best animation ever.

Calum: In movies, I don't really pay attention to animation.

Luke: Why not? Its the best part!

Calum: Eh, I guess I'm just not into it.

Ashton: Overall, did you like the movie, Nicole?

Nicole: Well at first I didn't because it didn't make sense to me but now I get it and its awesome!

Luke: What time is it?

Ashton: Uhh... (checks watch) 2:30.

Calum: Oh, yeah. I need to work on some music.

Luke: I'm gonna go for a walk. Take care of her, Ashton.

Ashton: Sure thing.

Then Luke got his shoes on and left and Calum went up to his room and closed the door. Time for some fun!
