"That's him!" I squealed in excitement. Ashton seemed to have enjoyed my happiness.

ASHTON'S POV

Seeing Nicole this happy made me smile. I grinned at her reaction. What a carefree little girl she is. I love her because of that.

NICOLE'S POV

Calum came down the stairs. All of us looked at him. He was 10 feet away from the door and we were 5 feet. It was dead silent in the room until Calum said sarcastically, "Please, let me answer it." We all laughed as Calum walked over to the door and opened it to see Shawn standing there looking like the hottest man alive. Shawn came in and said hello to Ash and Luke and then he walked over to me and shook my hand. I couldn't help but smile. "So you must be the beautiful Nicole. I've gotta say, I watched your video of you singing my song and you were absolutely stunning. It was an honour to hear someone with such a great voice sing it." Oh, my goodness. I almost forgot I sang his song! Wow. I replied back to his comment and said, "Wow, thank you." I didn't know what else to say. I was star struck I guess. But thank god I was able to keep my happiness and my, erm, star-struckness... in. Wow. I just made a new word, everybody! Woo hoo! Sorry, I'm just really happy that I've met the one and only SHAWN MENDES. Anyway, at that moment my iPod made a sound. I got a text. I went upstairs to my room and closed the door. ERGHH!! Why did I have to get a text now? I mean, right when I'm in the middle of talking to SHAWN MENDES?! UGH! Who could it be?! It's either Emma, Taylor, or Jessica. But whoever it is, I swear I'm gonna rip their head off! I know what you're thinking. "Nicole, chill out. It's just a text. It's not like its a phone call or anything. You don't need to answer it right away." Well you see, Taylor, Emma, and Jessica take texting very seriously. If I don't answer right away, they'll think I'm in trouble. So I have to answer immediately. I checked the text and it was from the one and only, TAYLOR. Ooh, she is going to get it now. She texted me, "Whats up?" I had to show my level of affection to her, which was anger. But how do I do that through text? Ooh! I know. Caps lock.

Nicole: WHAT'S UP??!?! U SERIOUSLY WANNA KNOW WHAT'S UP AT THIS EXACT MOMENT?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH U!!?!?!? I WAS JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF MEETING MY CELEBRITY CRUSH AND U COME IN AND TEXT ME WHAT'S UP?!??! WHAT TYPE OF CREATURE DOES THAT?!?!? U DO NOT DESERVE LOVE!! U R NOT A HUMAN BEING!!! I AM ALWAYS INTERRUPTED BY THESE NONSENSE STUPID THINGS!!!! THANKS 2 U, SHAWN PROBABLY THINKS I'M ADDICTED TO MY IPOD OR THAT I GET TEXTS EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE!! Ok I guess that's not that bad but I AM STILL ANGRY!!! I LIVE A HARD LIFE WHERE I'M ALWAYS EMBARRASSED LIKE THIS SO DON'T BE TEXTING ME WHAT'S UP!!!!!!

Taylor: ...

Nicole: ...

Taylor: u r addicted 2 ur iPod though

Nicole: I'm sorry, but Nicole Love can no longer be reached. If u would like to know more information, please text someone who actually gives a crap. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Taylor: U spelled 'you' wrong.

Nicole: ...

Taylor: ...

Nicole: *you.

At that moment, I turned my iPod off and threw it onto my bed. I grunted in anger. That's when I walked out of my room back downstairs. Ash said to me, "Hey, who was that text from?" I then replied in a very calm voice with the biggest smile on my face, "A nobody. An absolute nobody." They all started laughing at my remark. Boy, Shawn's laugh was like heaven. It was music to my ears. I came back and sat back on the couch beside Luke. Luke put his arm around me as we continued to talk.

LUKE'S POV

I had this odd feeling when Nicole had left to go upstairs. It was very weird. It was like a feeling of distress. Of worrisome. Of depression. But when Nicole came back downstairs, my whole face lit up and all those feelings floated away. I was just happy when Nicole came back. It was very interesting. Its like when Nicole is not around, I suddenly feel weird and when she is, I feel amazing. Nicole just has that aspect of her that everyone loves and nobody can take away. She's like a precious jewel that nobody can touch, a pure ball of sunshine. I don't know what it is about her. She tends to remind me of certain songs. Here they are and the reasons:

1. American Girl - Carrie Underwood

Nicole reminds me of this song because it talks about how everyone is in love with this one girl. But you know. The Canadian version. Listen to the song. You'll understand what I mean.

2. One Thing - One Direction

She reminds me of this song because... well... it's pretty obvious. She's got that one thing that I love. Listen to this song too.

3. Stronger - Kelly Clarkson

She reminds me of this song because Nicole has been through so much and with every single incident she's been through, she's gotten through it and past it and she has gotten stronger from her past. Listen to the song!

Anyway, I should probably get back to the real world and talk to everyone. I'm starting to wander into my own world here. I mean, I haven't heard a single word Shawn has said because I haven't been listening and I have been talking to myself in my head. So buh-bye!
